  • Are you looking for general tips or having a specific issue?

  • Yeah, people forget that it's a very specific type of experience for a specific type of person where this saying actually works. Like overcoming a fear by facing it head-on is great for some people and a source of further trauma for others.

  • Men cannot afford to go through the process of trial and error to learn to follow hints. The risks from misreading the situation are far too high.

  • Habitat for Humanity, estate sales, garage sales, or build your own.

There's also cruising affluent neighborhoods around the time the trash company picks up large items. For the low low price of embarrassment, you can get quality stuff for free.

  • From what I've seen, that last bit might get you some negative responses here, too. Unless you picked your instance well, it might cause you trouble with your account, too.

  • I didn't like the changes on Reddit with the API and suddenly charging for access. Turns out, I like it better here. Probably would have liked it before the Reddit refugee situation, too.

  • Ah, this is why I don't know what Bluesky is. I had no interest in Twitter, so shrugs whatever

  • Hey, that's a good one!

  • One more for the collection

  • Anytime AI does aliens, it reminds me that ai cannot make new creative things, it can only make the average of all the aliens that have appeared in popular media.

I'd welcome any examples to the contrary

  • This is a great mix of characters!

  • A fake ad that is a joke is great fun.

  • If there is any way to match up new blades coming in with shipments of old blades or worn out components going back, that would be ideal.

But also large bags of sea water would do the trick.

  • No times. I've always managed to get to a toilet in time, even if it was only moments to spare.

  • Do you want to be here, or do you feel trapped?

Edit: I feel like most dogs who are treated well would want to be with their humans, though some would want more freedom from time to time.

Most cats, on the other hand, would launch into a long monologue about ruling the world, killing all birds and rodents, and roaming miles a day to survey their kingdom.

  • When ads were smaller, unintrusive, only occasionally animated.

When pop-ups were the worst thing because little scrolling banners and side bars of ads were the normal way that sites paid their bills.

  • I think I'd remake some old 2d game, upgrade it with modernized graphics and add in a few extra tricks, smarter enemies, better physics representation.

Things like Lode Runner, Wings of Fury (which has been remade to death, but they're not right), and the original Mario.

  • I've had a terrible time whenever I tried to fake it. Something goes terribly wrong, or I'm completely at a loss of how to play it off like I know what I'm doing, and I'm super stressed out the entire time.

I've had a much better time admitting when I realize I don't know what I'm doing. Sometimes I have permission to try to figure it out as I go, so then mistakes and failures are expected by everyone involved. Sometimes admitting my ignorance opens up training, or at least advice on where to start on a project.

  • Well, from there it's either streaming or finding a way into an actual factory to make money on the same headaches.

  • Wait, you can see who downvoted your comments?
