You… you don’t know the difference between electing cabinet members and taking meds?

Your bad faith lacks nuance

This is the same excuse I’ve heard every time I point out that dems don’t have enough votes to do something.

When I ask when dems had a majority they point to Manchin or Sinema or Lieberman as their example of a dem majority proving they are arguing in bad faith and/or don’t understand what a supermajority is.

Meanwhile republicans don’t even criticize their own for committing crimes so they continue to win elections.

But I want to criticize democrats until republicans win elections and then criticize democrats for not doing the things I prevented them from doing…

No, they just can’t do anything because voters didn’t elect enough dems to give them a majority.

Delaying isn’t stopping anything. You’d be making the same comments just a little later.

What are senate dems supposed to do without a majority? The voters decided to prevent them from being able to do anything.

Bad actors try to hide that they are bad actors.

Those comments don’t undo all the work you’ve done for the GOP.

They are arguing in bad faith to help the fascists. They are in every thread that they can use to promote their anti democrat talking points.

Charging someone with a crime without an investigation IS illegal.

It is not legal to lock up political opponents without an investigation. Also, it normalizes Trumps corrupt behavior.

They did the only option other than doing nothing. As the saying goes: “you can do everything right and still fail”.

It’s pretty hypocritical to claim you don’t want the GOP breaking laws and performing coups but it’s ok if democrats do it.

You’re the one saying ‘just lock him up’ like it’s a normal case.

An investigation is required first. The insurrection involved thousands of people all of which had their own cases, witnesses and evidence, all had to be investigated before going after one of the most powerful people in the country, Trump, owner of judges.

It was not possible to just lock up Trump and if that was attempted there would be another January 6 with people storming whatever building Trump was held in.

But I think you know that and the intent of your comments is to blame democrats for Trumps actions.

Biden and Merrick did everything they could to charge Trump. Trump blocked the trial using his own corrupt judge.

This is the same talking point used in lemmy.ml and hexbear to try to blame democrats for Trumps actions.

You’re blaming the DNC for Fetterman voting against the party lines.

All while leftist call for the DNC to end closed primaries so we can have more Fettermans and Sinemas.

Just image how many more Fettermans and Sinemas we will get if the DNC removes closed primaries like leftists are calling for.

I’m sure some of it is organic but there have been times when I see a post and read the comments and they are all talking in a way that pushes a similar opinion. Then I see the same post reposted and notice the same accounts using the similar comments if not the exactly same. Often times being overly prepared with links and info dumping like a lot of effort was made to support their opinion. It is very sus.

We may not be able to verify when it is happening but we absolutely do know there are organized efforts to shape public opinion by using multiple accounts to push talking points. And this is done by many different types of organizations, from countries like China and Russia, but also by companies like Monsanto or the fossil fuel industry. It has been happening rampantly for years.
