It kind of is. the more wealth someone has, the more power they have over other people's life. They can buy laws and regulations, or have them removed. This is never a good thing. Billionaires simply must not exist. In fact, billionaires only exist because we have so many poor people. They profit from other people's hard labour and misery. If it was not such a historically charged term, I would call them parasites.

If he is caught and brought before a jury of his peers, then anything might happen. Not sure they will find a jury where all of the jurors will vote to convict him even if the evidence is crystal clear. Cops knowing this as well, I wonder if the guy will not have an "accident" before they catch him.

It's a systemic issue. This is capitalism, which exists to protect privilege of rich people. The police are just their enforcers. They serve and protect the rich, and of course their system. It is modern day feudalism. Police are the modern day bailiffs that will hit you over the head with a stick if you try to question the system. It's not that the NYPD is not a bunch of fucked up bastards, but they are part of something much bigger, and much worse. That's why ACAP, as it is usually meant, is insufficient. It really should be:

All Capitalists (and their minions) Are Bastards.

I had it once, and I thought it tasted like most subways smell.

We have a climate chamber ("Klima-Kammer in German) at work for testing products, and my Ukrainian coworker kept referring to it as the "camera", I thought that was funny.

And if it's really bad, it'd be "putain de bordelle merde", or so I've been told.

My favorite anecdote revolves around the many meanings of shit, which is hardly surprising, since the way this word is used in English is in no way forthcoming to a non native speaker.

So I was sitting in this call between my company (a medium size German tech company) and a big US corporation, discussing the development of a tool that we were doing for them. The people on both sides all knew each others at least in passing, and one of the people asked if one of my collegues was in the call, too.

Them: "So, is mr. X here, too?" Us: "No, mr. X had another appointment." Them: "Ah okay. Mr. X really is the shit." My collegues: wait...what? did they just...? Me, to my collegues: it's good, it's good, it wasn't an insult! My collegues, getting more and more aggrevated: "Did you just call mr. X 'shit'?" Them, not understanding: "What? NO!"

The Americans did not understand what the problem was, because they did not really think about what they said and that it might not be understood the way it was meant by a non native speaker.

It took a lot of explaining from my side after the call to cool my people down. They were completely bewildered, and they could not believe that calling someone "the shit" could possibly be a compliment. Me, I had a big big laugh the entire time.

Let's just say I am glad I do not have to make that call.

Problem with that is that almost everyone who was interesting is dead. Actor wise.

"Our" leaders start wars, and the common people suffer. We are never asked if they want that shit, but are forced to participate and kill or be killed. Fuck that. Fuck those leaders. Let's united against bad leaders and off with their heads!

Strict name rules that still allow parents to name their children "Ralf-Rüdiger" or "Ronny-Horst", both of which are real life examples (Ralf-Rüdiger worked at my company!).

Or just do what rich people always do and take out a loan to buy it with other peoples money. When you have that much wealth, taking a loan is never an issue. That is why the notion that some rich person can't pay more taxes or whatever because all their money is "invested" is completely void.
