I'd say it's fine. It is a question, after all. I'd prefer if the question was in the title itself, but that's a personal preference and I'm not sure how everyone else feels about that.
I chose my name when I was 12. I don't remember exactly, but I hit on the name Audrey and I was like, "I really like that name". Even back then in the year 2000, I knew I was trans, and so I decided to take the name for time being. It kinda stuck after years and years of being my true name. Unfortunately, I did not come out to anyone for over 20 years, so the only one who knew my name was Audrey was, well, me.
You raise a good point about the Linux community itself. A lot of the people I've seen have tended to be gatekeepy chuds. My girlfriend switched ahead of me, and she says she's having difficulty finding Linux YouTubers that aren't right-wing douches. I really hope Beehaw ends up with a vibrant Linux community... the be(e) nice ethos would cut out a lot of the worst issues with the Linux community.
Hi there! This would probably be a better fit for the Chat community. I know there's a question at the end of this submission, but I feel it's more of a discussion prompt, if that makes sense. There's been a good amount of good discussion on this post, so I'll leave this be.
I don't even bother with these streaming services anymore. I'm kinda just over it. I spent years with a Netflix sub struggling to find things that'd catch my interest. It's the cable tv syndrome of "hundreds of channels and nothing to watch".
The copyright term for works owned by a corporation should be cut wayyyy down. I'm fine with a long copyright if it's owned by a person, but corporations shouldn't be able to lock down things that are older than like 20 years old. People shouldn't be forced to buy a long discontinued console in order to legally play a old game.
