Yeah, it’s the word choice. I decided to stand by what I said and leave it.

As a mortgage lender that helps clients relocate out of California, you cannot blanket statement the entire state this way.

You can live in the slums, rampant homelessness or live in paradise. You can live in suburban desert hellscape or on an absolutely gorgeous vineyard.

People relocate out of there all the time but some do move back, realizing they hated the area of California but not the entire state.

Lemmy didn’t take off like all my other moves and that’s ok. Can’t stand what Reddit stands for. I won’t ever contribute there but I’m forced to visit to get commentary I need to see on the war and other niche topics.

The robots have filled the content problem but not the commentary problem. And no, I don’t want bot commentary.

Do you want them to stop innovating entertainment too?

If they did what you asked, there would be 100 asking why we haven’t figured out news ways to do this or that. “Why are we still watching movies from CD?!?”

Answer is no. They won’t stop making more. That’s how innovation works.

20 years ago when my wife and I first got together, we had a lot of minor issues like this (minor to me not for you).

She was a “come here” lady and I would prance, leap, breathe like a dog, move my head in joyous ways and bark as I came to her. It was a hilarious way for me to say it’s kinda disrespectful.

It’s all about communication. Just have a talk. These days, it’s all “hey babe, check out this funny video!” Or she will “hey look at the mess you left, come clean it up, I’m not your maid” and we’d joke about getting her a maid outfit for fun times. lol
