Mass Effect 1 is really like the first season of a TV show. The series was still finding its footing, but the story and characters make up for the grindy bits

Her biggest mistake was being honest. She didn’t lie on difficult issues by saying she’d fix it in 24 hours, she didn’t tell one thing to a group and the direct contradiction to another group, she didn’t scapegoat a minority to rile up the population.
