  • If you set your X server size bigger than your monitor size you can already do that. You can also move windows partially off the screen, so e.g. only the left edge is visible.

But I personally don't see the use case. I can't think of a time where the physical layout of different programs would be so important as to require a 2D canvas. Usually the connections between programs are not in a 2D plane, but instead by concept or task.
For example I may have a browser open, and want a terminal and an IDE next to it. How exactly these windows are placed is of no concern, I just need them to be visible at the same time . And that's something I can achieve with a normal tiling wm already.

But maybe I'm just not creative enough to desire more complex window layouts XD

  • No it's simply a big number. We are stuck with it due to history, but at its core it's a dimensionless quantity. You can do every single calculation without moles. Sure, yo may have to adjust some constants (boltzman constant vs gas constant for example), but it's not a unit in the same sense a meter or a second is.

  • No, the request is fine. But once it fucks up and starts generating a long string of a single number the output is censored, because it is similar to how a recent data extraction attack works.

  • FFMM straight / queer doggy BJ ORAL orgasm squirting ROYALE (gebührenfinanziert)

Is an actual video that was recorded as part of an episode of a political satire show about age verification on such websites. It was financed by the German public.

  • Is the u pronounced? I recently learned katakana and it seems like the u variant is used to just get the consonant, i.e. if you pronounce words by leaving out the u they often match more closely to the English word than if you do pronounce the u (or to (ト), because tu doesn't exist, it's tsu). The two examples you gave match that thesis.

  • It's surprisingly doable. If you have a free weekend you can learn all of them. Even one day may be enough if you are dedicated and a quick learner. Of course, repetition is a must if you don't want to forget them again, but the initial investment is really not that big.

This resource suggests mnemonics which are surprisingly effective. They teach hiragana first, but it's not a hard requirement if you want to learn katakana exclusively.

  • If all you want to do is play games, then AMD is the way to go. Better price to performance ratio.

But if you want to play around with AI, Nvidia is the only game in town. AMD still does not properly support GPGPU on their consumer cards. It's infuriating and embarrassing really.

  • It has no fundamental grasp of concepts like truth, it just repeats words that simulate human responses. It's glorified autocomplete that yields impressive results

Way to call me out man! I'm just doing my best, ok?

Jokes aside, while I don't agree with your position I can understand your reasoning and the motivation for separating agency and the description of actions, e.g. it lied vs its answer contained a lie.

  • This is a valid opinion to have as a consumer in the here and now.

However, if you think about the bigger system and how it will change in a few years time, you'll notice that the matter is not quite this simple. It's easy to imagine that no single musician is brave enough to take the first step onto a new platform devoid of users, just like you are not willing to jump to a new platform devoid of musicians. And if no artist takes the first step and no user takes the first step, then the status quo will prevail. Now, that may not necessarily be a bad thing. But if artists are not paid enough to continue making music for Spotify, then they'll stop making music for Spotify. That's fine if you like mainstream music of whoever games the system successfully. But it's easy to see how that would be a loss to some people.

  • If you want to you can just create a new subvolume, mount it temporarily and move all your files from root to there. Then you need to figure out how to make the new subvolume your root directory upon boot and you are done.

  • Economics is 50/50 too. It's not in the OG set of prizes and the science is hit and miss as well.

But yeah, physics, chemistry, medicine are all prizes that highlight game changing discoveries.
