Funny I created this last week so I'm just going to use it here.
Prompt : an alien species of plant transplanted in a forest in earth, and it's the most weird looking but most beautiful and colourful plant ever seen.
I visited Ireland and it took me maybe a day to get used to driving on the left.
Driving a stick shift on the left though took a little more time, I would often go from 1st gear to 4th gear. My muscle memory wasn't developed in my left hand for this.
Be aware though that the streets are much more narrow in the countryside. I was often nervous driving there.
In the city where i live right now, in 1975, two teenagers, a 16 years old male, and a 13 years old female, went for a motorbike ride in a field next to a wood. They never came back. Their bodies were found, shot point blank by 22 caliber in the head and in the chest. Their bodies were placed one over the other voluntarily. There were some claims that they were also found naked, but police data isn't clear about that. They never found what really happened.
Man, 19-2 is an amazing show. Personally I never felt hated like the original commenter said. And I'm glad some of our content attracts people who don't live here. But, I'm merely stating how easy and accessible it is to learn English, which is a good thing, by the way.
However, like I said, about 90% is the culture I consume is American now. Like in most countries. I'm definitely not encouraging the local culture, and I'm aware of that, but I'm simply not interested in it now. I got rid of cable TV because the ads were making my IQ drop every time. It's probably my fault this is happening in the first place. But now and more families are going steaming only.
All in all, the change in the way people consume culture is playing a lot against local culture.
