  • Tbf, the Bush presidency was led by his cabinet throughout the majority of his presidency. Bush spent nearly 400 days on vacation at Camp David while Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove, Rice, and Powell pretty much ran the show.

I don't really think Bush is smart enough, nor motivated by evil enough to be the originator of most of the big blunders that happened during his presidency. However, he is ultimately responsible for the actions of his government, and his inaction cannot be excused.

  • Any thoughts on how the plastic bumper at the bottom might impact that? Do you think that might make any difference at all? You're still going to hit the metal parts regardless, but that initial impact might be plastic

It may prevent some of the older type injuries where you get your calves scooped off in a parking lot, but it doesn't really look like it protrudes out far enough to help out in any other way.

really wanna see a 3rd party agency test this so we can finally get some answers, but with the lower front/angle, but the metal/front edge, it might even turn out to be a less fatalities, but more injuries type of situation. That edge is going to be the key factor.

From what I understand they won't be allowed in Europe due to their increased protections in pedestrian safety standards. Not sure if they did actual testing, or they just didn't meet the minimum standards.

  • Unfortunately the materials really matters with pedestrian motor vehicle accidents. When I first started working in orthopedics and rehabilitation, metal fenders and bumpers were still regularly on the roads and causing very specific injuries.

When a metal bumper hits you, it doesn't just cause blunt force trauma, it tends to shear muscle away from the bone. There was a specific ankle foot orthosis that was widely produced up until the early 2000s that was meant to replace calf muscles that were scooped off by metal bumpers.

This truck is basically a giant flying wedge of stainless steel, I don't see any pedestrian walking away from an accident with this monstrosity.

  • (IBA) president, Umar Kremlev, saying that DNA tests had “proved they had XY chromosomes and were thus excluded”.

This incredibly misleading, and I'm guessing since the IBA is currently just a mouth piece for the incredibly homophobic Kremlin.... I'm guessing intentionally so.

Just because you have a xy chromosomes, doesn't mean you're automatically dictated to be sexed as a male. You could very well have a XXY pairing like women with certain types of gonadal dysgenesis, something like Turner's syndrome.

Gender is without a doubt a human construct, but so is the false dichotomy of male/female that most people outside of the medical field view sex.

The intersex population is much larger than most people presume, and the labels in which we use to classify the majority of the population don't really serve a medical purpose for them.

There is no standardization in medicine for Sexual assignment at birth. Sexual assignment in medicine is utilized to categorize treatment needs that are commonly specific to the patient's sex. Intersex patients will require individual assessments, as even patients with the same diagnosis can have wildly different needs.

  • Mongolians are mainly known for their horsemanship rather than their marksmanship. They are probably the best marksman on horseback that have ever lived, but as far as historically being known for their archery.....that's the Koreans, and they're still pretty dominant in the Olympics.

  • A helicopter will crash if you just look at it wrong. I'm not quite sure why this is surprising to a lot of people.

Just because a helicopter can go faster than a drone, doesn't mean it's always going faster than a drone. The benefit of vertical take off is that you can land and pick up troops in dangerous areas.

More than likely this is the same scenario as whenever they shoot down one of ours with an RPG in Afghanistan. Got them right after touch down or take off, or got a lucky hit while they were flying low and slow.

  • If someone's been dishonest with you and you explain step by step how, and they still continue with the same line of reasoning. Then they don't deserve the time it takes to make an honest response.

As I said, I'm just utilizing your line of reasoning. If you want honest answers, maybe start by being honest.

Still haven't heard who you're canvassing for, or why it's relevant to the original claim. Until you answer that, I'm just gonna keep the convo to your level of integrity.

  • now you're doing the "I'm rubber, you're glue" thing

Just giving you a taste of your own medicine.... No reason to be honest to a person who is obviously not interested in an honest conversation. This is a foreseeable conclusion when relying so heavily on arguments.

  • Ahh, I was hoping it was "I won't be responding to any further post". That one's on me, guess I was being optimistic.

Though it is strange that you would suddenly start saying you're ignoring certain aspects of the post, when you've been ignoring most of the argument the whole time.

    This is becoming quite gaslighty

Unoriginal and a liar, what a catch you are! I bet you have to beat suitors off with a stick anytime you leave your goon cave.

  • "Come up here and let's do proper discourse" (yes I know you didn't say it, but I wish you did

Lol, is not pointing out the fallacy and trying to bring the conversation to the claim at hand several times not enough?

Good day to you, I need to get back to my doom scrolling and cat video's

    Fair, have a good one.

  • Of course I look for arguments that suit my biases,

    a logical fallacy isn't a valid argument....

transcended and shed your human weaknesses? Are you an entity of pure energy?

Lol, of course. Apparently it's the only way to recognize logical fallacies on the internet. Great rebuttal though, must be the power of beige.

  • You did not "interpret," you simply told me what you decided I was doing.

Lol, what do you think interpretation means?

Imagine if you stopped lying and just admitted you were wrong...

Tell it to the man in the mirror.

Weren't you supposed to be shutting up sometime soon? Or was that another lie as well?

  • you told me what I was doing:

Lol, interpreting someone's motives is a matter of opinion. I can't scientifically prove your motivations were virtue signalling and stroking your own ego, and you can't scientifically prove they weren't your motivations.

am not going to address the rest of your post.

Still waiting for you to shut up..... Please, be my guest.

  • The thread started as a series of criticisms, it devolved into "who you wit?" because of a strawman argument. One that I've been pointing at the whole time.

But, it seems people like yourself are just extremely susceptible to arguments based on logical fallacy that suit your innate biases.

  • Lol, you said you didn't care about your influence teaching people to disregard criticism via logical fallacy. I think that makes your motivations selfish in nature.

Opinions you don't agree with aren't lies, your hurt feelings don't dictate what is and isn't true.

    Another dishonest rebuttal.

I'm not going to address the rest of your post.

Great, go kick rocks for all I care. Some fresh air would probably do you some good anyways.

  • Lol, my dude. Your whole argument was to perpetuate a strawman argument. Then to be dishonest about the motivation of your strawman argument, and then to accuse me of lying for pointing it out.

You don't remember the whole, I'm not making a rebuttal, I'm asking a question? And then later claiming that you confronted their claim...which would have been a rebuttal.

This whole time you've done nothing but been academically dishonest, and then you have the audacity to accuse me of lying... Pretty gaslightly to me fam. I mean you still haven't answered the question you demand from others, and haven't explained how that question is relevant.

  • I hope you don't gaslight the people in your life as much as you attempt to do to people on the internet. Otherwise you're going to be a lonely and old before you know it.

But let's not pretend that you have attempted to be anything resembling honest during this engagement.
