IT job market in The Netherlands?

  • I'd say as for now there is plenty of work. Mostly with msps. Work is mostly available in the Randstad, but cost of living is also high there. (rent/buying)

  • I only have positive experiences with pop, but yeah, shit happens. My previous nvidia graphics card didn't like it so much either but I don't think that's a pop issue, now I have an AMD card and it works flawless. I imagine that mint and debian and many other dists will play nicely with my current setup and that it's just preference at this point.

  • A year ago or so I played the originals on Linux with just a few mods don't remember which ones. Only 2 or so nessesary ones. I also installed gamma and anomaly but I didn't play those much, got them working though!

  • Running that on PC and I recommend waiting until a few patches have been. Later in the game you run into game breaking issues.
