  • I think Israel would lose most of, if not all of it's support, even from the US, if it was found out that their troops were regularly committing sexual mutilation and rapes on Palestinian civilians. This is a step beyond just killing innocents. It's universally revolting behavior.

  • They said their friends work in "IT". They have most definitely heard about adblockers and know how to use them, if this claim is legit. As a person who works in the tech field, I don't know any coworkers who would not use adblockers. I find it kind of crazy to believe there are any IT professionals that don't use adblockers, but I guess some must exist. Maybe they feel like adblocking is stealing or immoral somehow.

  • You should want to make racists uncomfortable when they do a racism, and bigots uncomfortable when they do a bigotry. It's part of the hidden contract to living in a nice society. Stand up for others who are affected even if you are not. Shit is not cool, and you should care that your brothers and sisters are being marginalized.

  • Literally the only care that mattered in this situation is the admin(s) at Nexus mods, and they didn't have to even care that much. The thing could be removed with about 5 minutes of work, if that. Nexus has shown that they will not platform bigotry, and this is them following through on that once again. Other people's opinions didn't even matter.

  • GTA Chinatown Wars was great when it released for Nintendo DS and the PSP. It was actually a really well done update to the GTA 2 style of gameplay that a lot of people missed because it was a portable game. It was available on iOS and Android, too, but not sure if it's still there.

  • It seems to vary from generation to generation with them in terms of reliability. I have a 2017 6th generation golf that has been flawless for reliability so far. Apparently, the surrounding generations were not as good in that department from my understanding.

I also drive a manual and do my own maintenance like you, fwiw. So my experience may be different from the average driver.

  • I prefer Tarkov just a bit, but I honestly really liked dmz too. It wasn't bad at all. Not nearly as deep as Tarkov, but it didn't need to be. It had actually decent netcode and hit reg compared to the mess that EFT is. It's kind of a shame that the mode wasn't more popular, but thats partially due to the playerbase being so divided between multiplayer and warzone already. I'm still hopeful that they can improve it in the future.

  • This has already happened with Tarkov. Tarkov has been copied and cloned, but none of them are nearly as popular. Call of Duty didn't even really come close, and that's AAA. The game has already been around for 7 years. You would think someone had the time to make a better extraction shooter by now, but no one has. I honestly wish they would hurry up, because Tarkov is a mess from a netcode and performance perspective, it's just great in the game design department.
