  • I'm starting to feel like this whole AI craze that big tech companies are forcing onto others is just a dick measuring contest that none of them have the balls to back out of even though they all know it's a stalemate.

  • If only there was a way to keep files on a device you can keep in your home. Maybe even set up a closed system that you can access from everywhere without having to rely on Google's servers 24/7.

    Oh wait, there is. Nevermind.

As much as I'm talking shit, I get it. At the end of the day convenience is a hell of a drug.

  • They have a few good jokes here and there, but the overall plot for the majority of the episodes are just so lame. Even all the way up to season 10 things like NFTs crypto, and COVID would have been a one off joke not the entire plot of the episode. The eyePhone episode is subtle compared to how in your face these new seasons are with "current" events. And these new seasons are just fanfare mixed with topical bullshit. "Hey, remember all the characters from the show and their catch phrases? Now watch this episode about NFTs or an episode about the King of Space that feels like it was written for a completely different show."

I've been falling asleep to Futurama for almost 15 years and I've seen every episode dozens of times (I'm literally watching season 3 in the background right now as I procrastinate on sleep). I even watch it when I'm working out. But when it reaches season 11, I just restart the series. Which is a shame because there are some decent episodes in the new seasons. But I'm kind of avoiding them like the plague after I watched half of season 12 and found myself more pissed off than entertained.

  • With how they treat the things they are supposedly good at, I can only imagine how catastrophic this could be. I don't think you'd want the people working at a nuclear power plant to be so overwhelmed with work they need to piss in bottles.

  • As a long time worker of many different jobs, slacking off is the most important part of the job. Even if you like the job. All this will do is burn out all their employees faster than normal and make productivity suffer for the whole company. I've worked for a lot of small companies and penny pinching is the easiest way to lose a lot of money in the long run.

  • It's definitely different, but not in a bad way. I'd say the gameplay is very similar to Persona 5 in all the best ways, but also different in all the best ways. As for the story line, I'm not super far in but it's super interesting and always keeps you guessing about what's actually going on. I definitely recommend it.

Also thanks again for that invite to Deadlock, internet stranger. I've been enjoying that game entirely too much. 😅

  • I'd love to finally see Persona 6, but at the same time I'm down for anything. I've only had enough time to play Metaphor ReFantazio for about 20 hours or so but I'm really enjoying it a lot. Probably gonna end up replaying a bunch of Atlus games when I'm done too. Every time I play a new game by them I end up replaying all the older ones.

  • Five Finger Death Punch is as close as you can possibly get to pop music without leaving the genre of metal completely. I don't judge people if it's their jam, I just think they are extremely mediocre at best. It's no coincidence that the majority of their most popular songs are covers.

But hey, people like what they like.

  • I keep a backpack in my car with at least two changes of clothes, allergy pills, ibuprofen, sunscreen, and deodorant, toothbrush, and first aid. Worst case I'm ready when shit hits the fan. Best case I'm always ready for a surprise slumber party.

I just like to be prepared for if I get stranded during a storm or my car breaks down
