I've had several phone where the USB socket stops working reliably. At that point it's easier to use a wireless charger.

Yes, it's usually pocket fluff in the socket and it can be picked out, but it takes some time and care to avoid damaging the socket.

My latest case (Otter) also has a cover that is awkward to open to plug in the lead, so there's that too.

As a bonus the charger works with Apple and Android so very convenient as my kids are Macolytes.

It has a delightful hat. Is this part of the domestication process?

I think it's a fallacy to argue you have to pay more to attract top talent

The amount of times places then go on to select the worst candidate is astounding.

They need scrutiny and accountability so the electorate can rescind their choice.

The speaker should not come from MP stock either as that seat effectively has no representation, and no party stands in that seat.

It's a precaution. If you were to damage the exposed battery it could cause it to heat up and probably catch fire.

You do no want a lithium battery fire in your house.

If you're going to do it make sure you have enough time to do it all in one go so you don't have to leave the back off.

Sometimes if the bombers failed to find a target or if the got damaged by anit-aurcraft fire they would fly home and rather than land with a load of unexploded bombs on board they would drop them elsewhere. Maybe a field, maybe the sea...
