  • Itcreally is good. Nice base colors, not too contrasty, but also not too soft. Nord is the next best imo but often just feels too blue. Gruvbox seems just a bit more neutral to me, so I gravitate to it more often.

  • It's just a very basic Openbox install of Debian. It is the evolution of Crunchbang from some years ago, which was my go to and so I have continued with it. I like Debian and usually use Openbox so it is a natural and easy way to get that running, plus they have an excellent little community.

  • On the waybar I use Zekton and the terminal is MesloLGM Nerd Font Mono. I actually never changed the one on the rofi, so I am not sure what it is. And the conky clock I use ADELE.

  • The metric system is fine in a lab. But, in terms of basic human living the imperial system, which wasn't designed so much as developed over years of usage, is simply superior. It works better and is generally more convenient and flexible.
