  • Having the knowledge just gives you fancy words for the resulting coincidental shape.

Isn't that basically all of physics? Just an abstract concept to describe something that sort of fits the rules we extrapolated from observations so far.

  • Hated Algebra in high school. Then years later got into programming. It's all algebra. Variables, variables everywhere.

  • I usually delete over half the comments and posts I make because I keep thinking nobody gives a shit about what I have to say. I'm afraid some troll is going to pop out of nowhere and tell me to go kill myself. Reddit scarred me.

  • Now I want to pop it off and see if there's a stud on top.

  • I've just given up on all sleep/hibernate stuff on Linux and pretend it doesn't exist and we never invented that and just fully shut down like it's 1995. Half the time it does work, it comes back in a half-ass zombie state anyway with shit broken left and right, needing a full reboot.

  • Dude...I build my desktops from a bare Debian text only terminal by installing it piece by piece and only what I need. This current install has bee running fine for three years and I have no issues installing and configuring anything you can on Ubuntu.

This is a skill issue on your part, not an OS issue. At a certain point, if you've been using it enough, the distro literally doesn't matter anymore. Linux is Linux is Linux.

  • This is it. The original pioneers of the net are starting to leave us. I hope we can take care of their baby as well as they did.

  • Early 2000s, Microsoft starts putting sketchy telemetry into XP: 🙂

Late 2000s, MS ramps that shit up even more with Vista and 7 while the bloat rises to never before seen levels with the architecture change to 64 bit: 😁

Early 2010s, MS includes actual fucking ads into the OS: 😆

Early 2020s, MS jams AI into it because it's the thing to do and everybody else is doing it after nobody really asked: 🤣

  • I wish I had known about all these problems with Nvidia's shit on Linux and gone with a new AMD GPU instead of a 3070Ti. I HAD been using AMD/Radeon since the late-00s, I don't know WTF was wrong with me. Nvidia wasn't this bad in the early 2000s. It was the only way to run hardware-accelerated Unreal Tournament on Linux at the time.

  • Nice wallpaper. I like space. Space is cool.
