  • I feel bad for the kids of these antivax monsters that are going to allow their kids to get measles, or even worse Polio, and potentially suffer a lifetime of health issues based on junk "science". That's of course if they don't die and/or spread it to others.

  • I could see it in the case of a defendant, but for the prosecution under these circumstances I'm not sure what could be seen as affecting the states case. The right seemed to be framing it like she made the whole thing up just so she could hire an ex (according to DA/Lawyer) and pay him a bunch of money he would then funnel back to her via gifts/travel.

The fact that she got the indictment means that a grand jury already thought there was enough evidence of Trump's guilt for him to be charged, which blows their whole political witch hunt nonsense out of the water. Also if you were going to do some weird money exchange scam as the DA it seems like there would be much easier ways than hiring an ex (or even current significant other) as your lead lawyer in a very high profile case you know everyone is going to be looking at.

  • The way I understand their conspiracy theory is this. That the DA hired a lead lawyer in her case against Trump who she had/was romantically involved with. She did this for a high profile case as a witch hunt so that the lawyer she hired could use his pay to give her vacations and gifts in exchange for letting him work on a case that put himself and family in danger, and that several others asked before him had refused.

It's insane and makes no sense, but that's it in a nutshell.

  • Have Trump's DOJ turn a blind eye on the prisoner on suicide watch on the eve of his trial, where he is expected to name names? I'm not sure killing Luigi, or letting him take his own life, and making him a martyr instead of an "example" is really a great play for them.

  • Yep, he was in Congress for 14yrs, so starting at age 28. So these wild 30's were all while he was an elected official and I'm sure funded 100% on the up and up with no abuse of his position. wink wink nudge nudge

  • I love that this guy talks about his 30's like most people talk about their late teens/early 20's.

And his dance around framing this sounds like a lawyer advised him, "don't say anything, but if you do, stay vague like this and deny deny deny". Although, the "OK, sure I might have "dated" and bought gifts for girls that were underage, some maybe I never even interacted with other than them asking out of the blue for money/gifts" seems both sad/bad way to explain it away.

  • One of the things I find the most wild about this is that he's been a criminal his whole life, is now a convicted felon, and still tries to play the white knight of law and order.

We need to start countering the Rights propaganda before it's too late, spin their own words around and make going after immigrants looking for a better life the victims of a political witch hunt. Make them the people "treated so badly, perhaps the worst in history". It's the Billionaires weaponizing the DOJ against minorities and immigrants, the Billionaires have been living on Easy Street for decades.

  • You need to watch the video of him at this non-chain grocery store and how confused/impressed he is at everything. And then the owner starts talking to him about it and Trump zones out completely and almost turns away from the guy he's so bored and only there for the PR. The guy has never shopped for himself, and is so out of touch with everyday people. He has lived in a bubble of influencers, con men, and fixers for his whole life, and has no idea how anything around him actually works.

  • Trump has previously been highly critical of Mr Zuckerberg and Facebook - calling the platform "anti-Trump" in 2017.

So much for "free speech" and all that "freedom" these guys are always going off about. The guy did his part of being hands off and letting Trump's disinformation spread far and wide on Facebook in the run up to 2016, but now feels like he has to pay a million dollars to keep his business in OK standing.

This is just the beginning of Trump's fascist regime, with open bribes and bullying corporations to do the States bidding. And Elon obviously saw it as both an opportunity to make Trump swap from EV bad to non-Tesla bad, and Elon gets a government job firing people that would be roadblocks for his corporations.

This is going to be an insane timeline, and hoping anyone with any power doesn't just hand the government over to this mad man and end the Republic without a fight.

  • Trump and his posse have also been on a 8+ year tirade about imprisoning/killing the guy as well. No way would I spend my remaining days (Biden is realistically not long for this world) on egg shells waiting to see if they are going to further punish my kid that would already be serving his prison term (unlike Trump!).

And I think Biden would have 100% stuck to his previous stance had Trump not chosen the most grossly incompetent and very vindictive selections for his DOJ positions (and all spots really) hellbent on going scorched earth on Biden and everyone ever in his orbit.

  • I wouldn't be surprised if they don't purposefully tank the dollar to push Trump crypto coins, that will be regulation free and used for fraud/corruption/money laundering.

  • And also important is that more people might be inclined to get preemptive care, and physicals/checkups, if it didn't require they jump through so many hoops (or go bankrupt if Dr. finds/treats something).

  • I feel like we have a better chance of Trump giving Russia military aid than of seeing Trump making any demands of Putin, let alone "carpet-bombing" their economy. Does this author forget that Putin is the Dad Trump wishes he had, and he would do anything to have Putin feign respect for him.

  • Just a hunch, but probably a stud right in the middle and they either didn't want to deal with it, or didn't know how to move it. Makes sense if it's someone watching a video and doing it themselves to save money.

  • I learned that we can probably use UV lights shined on the skin, and maybe drinking bleach to alleviate symptoms, beautifully! I also learned if you don't test you don't have it, which is probably the most important thing to keep from having a pandemic and affecting the economy. Also in a pinch people on Tik Tok with no medical training but a "hunch" are more than qualified to suggest remedies to both cure you and/or prevent it, their advice should absolutely be followed without question.

    /s of course =)

  • But he loves Black people (like when he and his father were sued for racial discrimination in their buildings), and he promised to protect "Black jobs" from immigrants. /s

  • Or Exxon who made a ton of promises they knew they couldn't keep, and then had the Valdez spill that decimated a whole community and then some.

    Exxon Valdez oil spill

    Exxon denial -

"We've done 350 peer-reviewed studies of Prince William Sound, and those studies conclude that Prince William Sound has recovered, it's healthy and it's thriving."

    From 2014 (25yrs later) -

Federal scientists estimate that between 16,000 and 21,000 US gallons (61 to 79 m3) of oil remains on beaches in Prince William Sound and up to 450 miles (725 km) away. Some of the oil does not appear to have biodegraded at all. A USGS scientist who analyses the remaining oil along the coastline states that it remains among rocks and between tide marks. "The oil mixes with seawater and forms an emulsion...Left out, the surface crusts over but the inside still has the consistency of mayonnaise – or mousse."

  • You don't "get" autism like it's a cold, you are autistic and sometimes you get diagnosed, and sometimes you don't. We as a society have more educated people in places like schools to help identify kids way more than when Trump was having his dad pay for his dumbass to make it through school. It's just like his COVID solution of, if you don't test the numbers go down.

And why does nobody in the media push back on these jackasses to show their work? You make claims about millions of people you better have receipts, but of course these two intellectually-challenged white guys with money just get their every word quoted and published without any push back.

  • This isn't the same article (it was one probably linked here at some point) but here is one saying it may have been a veterinary pistol.

    Edit victim of autocorrect =(
