I might be wrong, but afaik you can’t have interactive actions with PWA, because they are web notifications. The atual Mail app lets you choose what options you want, because it’s a native app.

Even though you can use any browser, their point is still valid: it’s not an offline app, and it’s not up to Microsoft to decide what’s the best for their users.

At least we have the freedom to uninstall that crap and move on, I guess.

I think I belong to the exception, but outside of work, I prefer the Mail app to Outlook because of its simplicity.

I’ve tried the new Outlook but it was useless to me since it doesn’t support anything outside O365 and Google accounts. They forgot there are people that might want to use a simple IMAP/SMTP account within the client 🙄

The good news are: they enforcing this will push me to Thunderbird, I guess…

Only in Safari. If you want to use PiP, I recommend you to get Vinegar app, which lets you do both things on Safari.

Well, you can use AdGuard free version to block them 🤷‍♂️

Swipe from the left side works for me on the PWA. Have you tried to delete all Safari data and reinstall it?

I’m algo getting that same behaviour on iOS.

I mainly use FreshRSS on Safari, as it works okay. But for iOS, NetNewsWire is a good app.

I self host an instance of FreshRSS, and I got back to using RSS (whenever possible) to fetch the news. In some cases, I do web scrapping (also within FreshRSS) to get the news.

The only thing lacking is push notifications.

It’s okay to cancel something you don’t like. I don’t support Nestlé.

But there is a difference between a company supporting something, and an employee of a company supporting something. It’s not the same thing!

Would be nice if you also could block a user by holding on its name 😉
