  • Ooops I may have misread my timesheet (done fortnightly). Only 10 days out, sorry.

  • Yep. Up there with Hello Kitty anything imo. Though I did quite like the Hello Kitty sporran I saw on sale in an op shop once. Edit - it is entirely to take neoteny entirely too far.

  • Guys, I've just realised its ONLY ONE MONTH until the shortest day of the year. Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrggggghhhhh ...

  • Hope you feel better soon - maybe get some of today's glorious sunshine while we still have it.

  • Righto. Coming up this evening. Will probably kick in right as you want to go to sleep. Will provide the 'do it now and get it over with' version, unless you want the 'help help the deadline approaches far too quickly' version. Please let me know what your preference is.

  • Would you like some witchy help sent via the aether? Can do up a motivational brew if you feel one would help you get started.

  • Horse if free-standing, rack if attached to a wall imo. I have a 3 panel one that folds into a z shape and is super useful for large items like sheets/towels as each panel is at least a metre wide and has 3 cross bars. Very old fashioned, I found it at a garage sale and grabbed it with glee cos I've never seen one in the shops. My other one folds out into a vertical X shape and has a removable top panel that locks it into place and is IDEAL for loading up with socks/little shit and putting over the ducted heating outlet in the spare room. Both fold flat when not in use and get stowed in the gap between the bookcase and the window for low profile storage.

  • Not on Fridays. They bring in spag marinara on Fridays.

  • Animal shelters will take ANY towel in any condition. Sound like the 'good' towels could go to Vinnies or similar. The Sheridan ex hotel towels should maybe be kept as back up dog towels.

  • Chicken soup for Bacon, and some of Roo's strengthening medicine.

  • Musk deer glands would have been MEGA expensive even then - I very much doubt that the real thing was used in confectionery. Fancy mega expensive perfume etc. yes, but sweeties???

Although, there is a mosque in central Asia somewhere where they mixed real musk deer glands with the mortar. This was back in the 16th century or so, and on hot days you can still smell the musk in the mortar apparently. Conspicuous consumption has been around forever.

  • Pea & ham soup from the lunch menu please chef. With crusty bread and a beer.

  • You do realise that Miss Meow will ignore all these facilities, and seek out your best angora sweater to sleep on instead.
