  • To be honest, Perez was always a good driver. Perhaps RBR knows that the car isn't really where it appears to be, and it's Max that brings it there. Then another driver would not make a difference. And with Perez they know they will not have an intra-team war like Merc did with Rosberg and Hamilton.

  • The funny thing is that the center support of the halo (that's what it is called if you want to Google more info), is not in the field of view. A driver very rarely looks straight ahead. Mostly they look at the apex of the next corner.

  • Why? Many drivers started out in lower teams and then progressed to teams higher up the grid. Team bosses know how each car should classify and take that into account when evaluating a driver. Plus the fact that he is still a Ferrari-junior of course.

    Heck, Leclerc started in Sauber himself. Russel in Williams, Vettel in Sauber, Alonso in Minardi, Kimi also in Sauber, Schumacher in Jordan. The examples are many...
