Dave the Diver has a very good early game, but eventually the grind just became needlessly tedious in my opinion. I liked going down and getting the fish etc. but the grind in mid to late game is just very time-skip heavy
Honestly psychonauts 1 and 2 are both absolutely amazing, and the art style means that they don't end up looking ancient despite still looking old. The story is also very enjoyable and influential on the level design
While i do get your sentiment, i also somewhat disagree. I like being professional looking while being professional looking, and then relaxing while looking relaxed. Imo it creates a barrier between work and living, så that the two are properly separated.
Shadow heart has some nice early appeal, but karlach is bae all the way. Tried to go with shadow heart the first time around, and couldn't bring myself to do it to karlach
Literally call it the race of men/man several times. Does that technically make Eowyn genderfluid or just paradoxical since she is both a man in the sense of race but also states herself that she isn't a man?
Just to piggyback off of this/give an example of good usage of early access: to me BG3 was great usage of early access. It stayed there for a long time and actually used the early access to get player feedback to improve the game. When the game finally released the only dlc they had was given for free to everyone who played early access, and it doesn't really change the gameplay experience at all, it was only stuff like an art book and some references to their older game.
I would love to try Persona 5 royal, one of my friends loves the series so would be fun to try.
If people wanna try a good and fun game then I would highly recommend the psychonauts series. The humour and gameplay are top notch, and number one is pretty cheap. Number 2 was without a doubt my favourite game of the year
Honestly good points overall, but I will die on the other egg hill
