  • I don’t know if it’s the same stat buffs/debuffs across all the Elder Scrolls games, but the one OP was likely talking about was the Redguard race in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (stat sheet here). And yes, it was pretty messed up.

  • An actual faithful adaptation of I Am Legend. It’s a short as hell book and could easily be adapted almost word for word and still be a reasonably short movie. Hollywood had multiple swings at it without even bothering to try and get the main story arc or the ending right (and no, I don’t think the Will Smith alternate ending was good).

  • Bloodborne. I gave up on 3 separate times, even after loving previous Dark Souls games. Gave it a 4th and final try, then didn’t stop until I got the platinum trophy. I don’t know that it’s my favorite souls game, but it left me the most satisfied when I finally finished it. Love that game and wish it would get the same remaster treatment that Demon Souls got.

  • I do!

    Ingredients:

    • 1 small onion
    • 1 large carrot
    • 1 large zucchini
    • 3+ cloves garlic (depending on how much you like garlic)
    • 2 chicken sausage links
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 1 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp pepper
    • 1 can white beans (cannellini beans work well)
    • 6 cups chicken broth
    • 1 can crushed tomatoes (I used whole peeled Roma tomatoes and hand crushed, but not required)
    • 1 tsp dried basil
    • 1 tsp dried oregano
    • 1 cup small dried pasta (I used orecchiette, but any small pasta works)

    Recipe:

    • Chop and dice onion, cut carrot into quarters, mince garlic, cut zucchini into quarters
    • Remove sausage from casing, add to large pot with olive oil and cook until browned
    • Add onion, carrot, garlic & zucchini to the pot with salt and pepper, cook until veggies have softened stirring occasionally (about 10 minutes)
    • While the veggies cook down, drain the beans well by pouring into a colander in the sink
    • Once veggies have softened, add broth, crushed tomatoes, white beans, basil, oregano to the pot and bring the mixture to a boil
    • Once it begins to boil, add pasta and reduce heat to a simmer until pasta is tender and soup has thickened (about 15 minutes)
    • Taste for seasoning and serve/enjoy!
  • Hell, just turning wifi or Bluetooth on and off is a hassle on the iPhone versus a single swipe and tap on Android.

What on earth are you talking about? I’m not going to claim Apple invented it (because they likely stole it from another os like android) but they’ve had the single swipe down control panel on iOS to turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, airplane mode, etc for like a decade+. I have Apple devices, and trust me, there’s plenty to shit on without making stuff up.
