I felt this way for a while on the website that is a reverse of "tidder."

But then I realized engagement is visibility, visibility is awareness, and awareness drives change. Best we can do is upvote and add to the dissenting thoughts in the comments.

There are a lot of test proctoring services that only work on chrome that are required by schools/universities too. I hate the services, but I don't want to fail my exams, and these online tests/proctoring services are getting more and more common post-pandemic-isolation.

I think they were referring specifically to the use of the quote in the context of privacy in tech.

I'm not interested in dismissing your feedback, but I do kind of agree with the point made by person you're responding to (I don't agree with the rhetoric).

By sorting by hot, I get a lot of low-engagement posts with 5-20 upvotes and 0 comments. It's just not the kind of content I want on my feed. And while this is all anecdotal, Lionir also responded to you with (hopefully honest) confirmation that active > hot for most users.

At this point I get most of my CPU/GPU info from GN, HWUB, and derbauer.

It's so annoying to look for it elsewhere.

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but I thought they saud "culturally Jewish" because I know a lot of people who are Jewish by birth but hardly (or never) practice.

But that could just be my rare experience, since I live in an area with plenty of Jewish people.
