Personally I even do that digitally. Tablets are basicly a limitless piece of paper.

It's still pretty useful to do simple math in your head. For example chicken adding a few numbers together or multiplying something. In general stuff that would take longer to type in than just calculating yourself.

The difference that there is at least some choice. The choices may all be bad, but still better than Amazon. They have no realy big competition. The fact that it is so hard not to order on Amazon is very concerning.

For me it's the age of the person. If it's a 20 year old, their health can still get better. If it's an 80 year old who has lost his whole family and friends and is depressed that's a whole other thing. That's something that is probably not going to get fixed.

I live in a student dorm and when I go in the kichen or the bathroom I dont allways want to put on real shoes. And they don't get dirty like normal house shoes do. They are just simple and do what they are supposed to do.

Pls don't get to that reddit point of downvoting. The downvote behavior was so nice here the first few weeks, after I joined, but got so much worse after the last very big reddit migration wave.

The peoblem is funding as allways. Both of them are similar and both of them are very expensive. Especially if you look at the USA, what I'm guessing this post if referencing. Your network is so unbelievably bad it takes a lot of muny to build up anything. And even if you had intercity routes, you still need public transit in those cities to get there. Otherwise people have to drive there by car and if there already in the car they can just drive the whole way. And you would need huge parking spaces. Parking spaces (especially in the USA) are a big problem. The point of a train station is to be in the middle of the city. So directly between shops and stuff like that. Huge ass parking spaces don't allow that, because you first have to walk some time to get to some "civilization"

Yes. There is a realy big step between algorithms and ai.

I just write on it with my Samsung pen. No conversion in normal text needed. That makes your tablet just like a big piece of paper where you can add unlimited more and can find everything you want very easily. Personally I use oneNote for my notes, because it syncs with my PC and everything is saved in the cloud. But the normal Samsung notes app is pretty good too.

Yea it's legal question. If you break the contract they will get their lawyers. It's as simple as that. And you will probably loose that trial.

Phone companies actively design those things to get worse with time. Especially when you hit the two year mark it usualy drastically decreases in a very short period of time. And even if they didn't its pretty normal for a battery to get worse after two years of active use with constant charging and unchanging. Especially because we tend to not care for our batteries that much.

I think if only they did this and the rest of the companies don't they would lose a big chunk of their market share, because a lot of people realy want those replacebal battery's

I don't think they will be big compromises. I mean they use batteries anyways, so the ability to change them easily won't be that big of a deal. They managed to do that in the past and just decided that it's more profitable to glue them in

And that is already happening in a small scale. All those natural disasters that are happening all over the world. And especially the poorer country's on the south half of the globe are struggling with stuff like wood fires, smaller harvests because of the heat. And it's all just going to get worse. I hate humanity.
