It's interesting that only one out of the lot of them was (at least within the last 6 months) gay. All the rest with same-sex relations were bisexual (at least within the last 6 months).
Democrats are remarkably good at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Stupid shit like this is what hurts the actual elections because they either throw temper tantrums about not being first, or try to force people to toe the party line in completely unnecessary circumstances.
They did this in 2016 by forcing Hillary down our throats (she may or may not have won a legitimate primary, but when all the super delegates preemptively go for one candidate, it kind of tells their voters to suck a dick, they'll decide what's best), and look what happened. Now they're in another race where it's the Dem's election to lose, and they're fighting to do so.
The Dem's motto should be good plan, terrible execution.
And it shouldn't be an optional thing. Even if it could potentially help Democrats, or you personally, or whatever, it is unacceptable for him to be allowed to run after refusing to transition power peacefully. It is and should be disqualifying.
It's not a matter of preference. It is a matter of what is right and just.
Could a president order Seal Team Six to assassinate unsympathetic judges, either of an appeals court or the Supreme Court itself, since that's an "official act?" Because that might be something worth considering.
The big thing is 70% support and enable the 30%. Those 20% are not genuine heroes if they protect rapists, thieves, racists, and violent criminals who abuse their authority. They are, at best, the lesser evil.
Oh, I judge, particularly the older person, but not in some moralistic way. But in a "if at 50 you can have a romantic or sexual relationship, even temporarily, with an 18-year-old, I have some unflattering views of you."
Then it's a pretty stupid metric. A small country could imprison and torture half its population and still be a tiny fraction of total people in prison.
That being said, there's obviously way too many people in prison in the US right now.
