  • It's not the not holding a grudge that is unhealthy, it is the not holding people accountable that's unhealthy. You deserve to be treated with respect and you aren't respecting yourself if you are allowing people to harm you and then continuing on like nothing happened. If you love or respect someone you should should hold them accountable for their actions so they can learn and grow as a human.

  • My husband and I discuss this regularly. The loss of the social contract.

It is so sad to see so many people respond with "not my responsibility." Why isn't it? If you want to be a part of society then it is your responsibility. Part of being "civilized" is the strongest helping the weakest and most vulnerable. Our truest measure as humans is how we treat those who need the most.

Bringing other people up to a dignified level increases your value, not decreases. It doesn't take away from you to let others have dignity and respect.

  • I work at a company that pays for all of the education it would take for me to run my own insurance brokerage, I'd be foolish not to stay. They also have pretty low turn over, there are dozens of people who have been there for 15-40 years.

It really depends on the situation. It's not foolish to be content in a good situation.

  • If you are already using an antiperspirant and it's not working you can increase the strength by using OTC clinical strengths or getting a prescription strength, but it also increases your risk of breast cancer. If you have hyperhidrosis there are other medical options to stop you sweating through your clothes. I take Oxybutinin at the moment but I am considering Botox to avoid daily medication.

  • You should educate yourself, my friend. Following the teachings of Jesus Christ is fine but being a denominational Christian is another thing all together. You are part of a cult where all you are is a means to an end.

Night of the Long Knives, my friend.
