Those kind of games seem fun, but I'm also just talking about a small game every once in a while, something like one or two rounds of MtG, Machi Koro, Claim, Sushi Go. The light stuff, not the stuff that takes hours per game.
Do you think cows magically appear out of thin air? We breed them specifically to be eaten/milked. If we stop eating them, there will simply be less breeding. It's not like we have to kill a surplus, we just "empty our stockpile" and don't breed more.
A good excel sheet is a thing of beauty. I made one for my family's finances which takes everything into account. Automatically calculates net from gross salary, child benefits based on number of kids, the percentage we both have to transfer to our joint account every month, etc. It gives us so much clarity about our finances.
Damn, Space Trucker looks like my jam! Honestly I love playing the space trucker in Elite Dangerous but the economy stuff is such a slog, finding out what to buy and sell where.
