Have you ever met anyone who is the polar opposite of a hoarder? Like someone who cannot tolerate owning stuff and frequently throws out or sells stuff they need which they later need to buy again.

  • My driver's license (Dutch) doesn't expire on my birthday but 10 years after the date it was issued. If it were issued on the 29th of februari, it would expire on March first since it would be valid on the 28th but not on the 1st.

  • I don't know but I'd assume that the birth certificate just states the date of your birth. It is an actual date, just one that doesn't occur annually.

    • When I placed a lamp next to a mirror where I can see "two lamps", does that double the light output? I know all the light that would have been wasted on the wall is now being returned so is it a yes?

  • The light output is the same. The light "input" you are receiving through your eyes is more, because the light (not all of it though, but nearly) is now reflected towards you instead of partially absorbed by the wall.
