  • No, because free speech includes all speech. Even the speech we disagree with.

We don't technically have free speech in the US either. You can't make death threats or shout "Fire!" in a crowded movie theater.

  • I have 3,400 hours in Space Engineers.

About 1,500 hours in FFXIV, 1,400 hours in DayZ, and 1,300 hours in 7 Days To Die.

Then 900 hours in Empyrion Galactic Survival, 500 hours in Baldurs Gate 3, and 300 hours in Fallout 4.

The rest are well below 200.

  • Google is just going to stall and delay until Trump's goons come in. Then, suddenly, the DOJ will have a change of heart.

  • Always remember that once you sign the dotted line, there's no changing your mind later. That's the advice I received in the Navy from my Chief. This is where doing your homework really pays off.

When buying a car, try to plan ahead ten to twenty years. Most people don't buy a new car every couple of years, so you'll need a car that suits your needs for a long time.

Are you planning on getting married and having kids one day? Maybe a minivan. Do you do a lot of trade work? Maybe a pickup truck. Are you just trying to get from point A to point B? Maybe just a regular four-seat car. Planning ahead will save you headaches in the future.

Get something that's easy to repair yourself, the spare parts are cheap, and are easily obtainable. Some brands are extremely difficult to fix yourself and that's by design.

As for car internet privacy, I don't know what to tell you.

  • "Despite that consistent bipartisan support,”

Which democrat(s) voted in favor of this? They should be removed from the party immediately.

  • My uncle is banned from any and all family functions. He's an angry conspiracy whackjob, the prototype to the modern MAGA chuds. He was delusional, he was violent, and he would push his insane conspiracies onto everyone without consent.

Nearly every family get-together that he attended, he turned it into chaos, violence, and rage. The final straw was when he hard slapped my 8 year old little brother across the face for playing some phone game.

That was about ten years ago.Occasionally he'll call my dad (his brother) asking for money or if he can visit, but dad never forgave him for the slap.

  • LibreOffice. It's free to download and use and it is on par with Microsoft Office.

Even though it's free, I donated to them as it's quality software that I support.

  • Do mass DoD employee firings, I dare you. Watch your military ships sink and your planes crash. With no one to maintain them, that's what's going to happen.

  • Sort of like every business and corporation that has a booth at Pridefest. Many of them are hostile to the LGBTQ+ community, yet they're at Pridefest just for the PR.

    1. A pallet of tissues for when their spouse and entire family disowns them.
    2. A good lawyer to defend them when they lash out and commit various crimes.
    3. A little American flag to wave patriotically as they destroy this country.
    4. A wheelbarrow to carry all of your cash to the grocery store as inflation is about to explode.
    5. Solar panels, compost pile, and an outhouse because basic infrastructure like electricity, plumbing, and waste removal are at risk of budget cuts and mismanagement.
    6. A tutor for the children as education is getting deep cuts soon.
    7. A good therapist to help work through all of that cognitive dissonance.
    8. A bicycle as the price of gas will skyrocket.
    9. A standard dictionary as basic terms and concepts elude them.
    10. A back brace as you're going to have to pick your own crops from now on.
  • We need courses that teach males how to be men. Not the BS toxic stuff, but teach them how to be decent human beings in society.

  • You're assuming that Republicans are consistent with their BS. They are not.

Many, if not most, MAGA voters suffer from extreme cognitive dissonance and they're trained to not think about it.

  • Never forget, Steam allowed Alex Jones to publish his "anti-woke" video game there. And it was as disgusting as you can imagine.

  • I have a suspicion it'll be a lot like EvE Online and their EvE Echoes mobile version. The mobile version is significantly watered down in size and functionality, yet is still playable. I think we'll see something similar.

We'll still see the core gameplay, but parts of the game might be removed or retooled. Crafting and gathering will likely be simplified, minions will be gone, jobs will have less abilities, graphics significantly reduced, and so on.

It's doable, but don't expect it to be the same game.

  • It WAS the end for a lot of people. Not everyone survived the last Trump regime.

  • The Democrat party used to be the party of the people, but they aren't anymore. They don't want to be anymore and it's been like that since Bill Clinton.

  • I know it's probably not this but the thought of that popped up in my head

Uhhh.... that speaks more to where your head is than anything else.

  • That's just wrong. Americans are desperate for major changes to a system that just isn't working for us. It works great for the rich and for corporations, but not for the average American.

Democrats have ignored the plight of the average American by only looking at the data that affects corporations and the rich. And that data shows that everything is great. We have one political party that's so wildly out of touch with reality.

On the other side, we have MAGA Republicans who actually acknowledge the struggles of average Americans. The MAGA Republicans make grand claims of tearing the whole damn system down which is very appealing. The system isn't working for us, we'd love to see it tear down.

But the Republican party is a bitter pill. With them in charge comes abuse of power, crime, and authoritarianism.

So on one hand, we have the Democrat party that's out of touch with reality, holds elitist attitudes towards average Americans, and has a long track record of implimenting meaningless micro-changes that don't actually address the seriousness of the problems.

Then on the other hand, we have the Republican party that directly speaks to the average American, acknowledges their struggles, yet redirects their anger towards minorities & women, and has fascistic tendencies.

It's a tough choice between Democrat, Republican, and casting no vote at all. I can't blame the average American for voting for Trump to burn the whole damn system down. The Democrats need to get their shit together, but as of now they'd rather just voter shame and victim blame.

They're not going to retake power for a long time, and even then they wouldn't do anything with that power to fix what's broken.

  • I bought a T14 Gen 2 on eBay for about $250. It can play some older games like Morrowind, but I mostly use it for book writing, D&D games, video downloading/ripping/burning, browsing, and such.

I put Linux Mint on mine and it runs like a dream.
