  • I have a question. What do any of the people in this... meme? have to do with each other? Is this another Qanon delusion?

  • I'm a D&D player and DM. If Elon's threats are to be believed, 2025 is likely to be the worst year for D&D.

  • I got perma-banned from Reddit for speaking against the genocide in Gaza. Reddit taking this down doesn't surprise me at all.

  • If you know the identity of the shooter, no you don't.

  • Start a new political party in the US that actually represents the people.

  • People fleeing Xitter is creating more and more of an echo chamber. But normies don't like listening to Nazis and white supremacists, so that's really Elon's fault.

  • Who knew "Genocide is bad" would be such a controversial statement in 2024? Like, really?

  • A lot of those gun owners are also boot lickers.

"We need our guns to protect our civil liberties from a tyrannical government! But if we like the tyrant in charge, then tread on us harder, daddy!"

  • They're basically announcing "We're a business, but we're not all that interested in making money."

  • Democrats don't represent the people's will. They just want our votes, and even then they're not particularly enthusiastic about wanting our votes.

  • These are the correct answers.

  • Egotistical assholes gain attention more than regular commentators.

Internet culture rewards the loud, obnoxious, and offensive with attention and engagement. Advertisers like attention and engagement, so they financially back the loud, obnoxious, and offensive.

This is why it's so prevalent on social media.

  • No, it's not controversial in the way right wing idiots pretend that it is. I think some moron probably got banned for being transphobic, then started spreading this conspiracy theory on Xitter.

  • In the women's locker room at the shipyard. Nobody ever goes in there, it's clean, it's never used, and I just got off a sixteen hour shift of welding. I was damn tired and couldn't muster the strength to drive myself home.

I got about five hours of sleep which was enough rest to drive myself home and call out "sick" the next day.

  • I didn't go through all of those steps, but a conspiracy theorist on Xitter claimed that BlueSky automatically bans anyone who says "There are only two genders."

It's a testable claim, so I tried it and was not banned. My post was also not deleted and it's been over a week.

  • Tone down social media use and do a little prepping. Learn how to use mylar bags and properly store away rice, beans, lentils, pastas, etc.

Prep as if the internet is going down for a prolonged time, maybe even electricity in general.

You can stress about things after you've gotten your shit together for a prolonged emergency.

Understand that this isn't the end of the world, just the end of the world as we know it. Humans are notoriously lazy and selfish, it will take a worldwide calamity before we get our collective shit together and do what's right.

The people in charge have failed us for their own selfish interests. There's nothing else to do except prep and make a better tomorrow.

  • It's not an RPG, but I always recommend PowerWash Simulator. It's one of those games where you don't have to pay too much attention to the game and can watch stuff on your phone.

Aside from that, maybe World of Warcraft private server like ChromieCraft.

There's also Starbound, Terraria, Fallout 3 & New Vegas, the Portal and Borderlands games, Half-Life 2 just received an update.

  • If I were so rich that I'd never have to work again, I'd go to law school and become a public defender. I can't become Batman, but I can still help others.
