I have a bunch of hobbies but the two that I'm currently concentrating on are building guitars and working on motorcycles.

There are plenty of people who build or customize guitars for a living. I have sold exactly one that I built from scratch and that was probably 15 years ago.

I'm resurrecting a barn find motorcycle that I'll sell (or I'll sell one of mine to keep this, I haven't decided), but I'm not going to make any money on it because it's not sought after. I'm doing it for love. I'll break even.

As someone who drives one out at the ranch, yep. I wish I had my old 70s model. It's nice to have the big bed for what I need, but it's missing all of the real stripped down utility I used to have.

I miss my '73 Datsun pickup.

That's what they did to me 20-odd years ago. I did my best to train up the guys that came after me, but I am only one guy. I hope they're not still doing that.

That's what I was thinking. Does anyone remember leading up to him taking over in '17 they were talking about how Obama was going to institute martial law and just stay in the Whitehouse without being elected?

They haven't tried that one yet but they sure floated that someone else was going to do it.

Side note: I love how "fuckin business" works a couple of ways.

I know a family who was directly behind one and one of the thinner logs flew off the truck and through their window directly between the two adults in the front seat.

A friend of mine was riding behind a semi when the bracket holding the mudflap detached. Ended up with a 2 inch hole in his hood. The cop that came out wouldn't write up a report for insurance because he didn't believe the story, even in the middle of the damn interstate with a fresh hood hole. So my friend drove around for years with a hole in his hood. I think that's the day he started hating cops.

It's crazy that I can't tell if it's bait from a pretty good troll, a real supporter of the racist in chief himself who believes this shit, or a supporter who is trolling because their real life is kind of pathetic. They all kind of sound the same at this point. But the fact that whoever it is went down the comment chain to reply to you instead of just those who took the bait points to 1 or 3.

You're absolutely right. What was the clear cut career accomplishment? What did she contribute? This is a lot of words that don't seem to include any of those accomplishments while shitting on someone who seems to have a rich and fulfilling life when he's not listening to this "everybody clapped" story.

I worked at an MSP for years and had clients who would send it back and forth that way to each other. The most common were medical practices, but banking wasn't far behind.

Fax was considered secure because you could lock up the fax machine physically.

My favorite setup was a medical practice that dealt with stomach issues, including colon cancer, and their neighbor in the same building who was a pathology lab. They both had the PDF to fax and fax to PDF servers set up to send back and forth when someone could just walk 50 feet and hand over paperwork.

There's a joint in a little New Mexico Town that has amazing frybread. I wish I could remember where. It was somewhere I stopped on a whim on the way through.

And rather than even attempting to discover what was at the root of this tragedy, angsty kids wearing black were harassed. Reexamine gun laws and build a more robust mental health network? Hell no! Make sure them outcasts feel it every fucking second.
