  • Thanks, so in sv08's case, I'll have to open the bottom and plug the fan into another header before updating printer.cfg just like your example.

The firmware update is a .deb file, I know this, it's a unix debian system!

  • I've been doing some light research and i think it's possible to run the stock fan slower and turn it off when not printing, but it's unclear whether i'd have to plug the fan into a different header or not.

Because the full info is in a private facebook group :bleugh:

  • Since you provide zero additional context to your question as to your current transport situation or geographical area, I have to believe that you are doing fine as is, and therefore conclude that there is no need for it.

    'My' recommendation is thus:

    "HELL YA BROTHER"

  • That didn't have what I was looking for, found out the the car category effects the car xml, all sorted now I believe, fully configured xml now and I placed it in a new category. (Lemons class B)

I'll spend far too much time tweaking it now :)

  • I found my file creation dates, it's 2008, I'm wondering did i make it for torcs first or really early SD.

Anyway don't bother the xml is terrible, it's got 4cm of suspension travel and imaginary springs, I've already started playing with it and will have a PR after lunch.

Is there a up to date guide for the car xml somewhere? or a car with a well commented setup?

  • I recall a tube frame beach buggy and a caterham/lotus 7 with silly over size wheels and lots of roll, it was good for free play/roaming, not that we had such tracks/maps.

I remember a three wheeled tuktuk as well I don't think I released that.

Must re install SD next week it's been too long.
