Just give me an amp with Bluetooth so I can play my phone through the car speakers. Anything the car makers produce will be woefully out of date before I sell the car.

Downloaded Mlem after this comment. It is pretty good (none feel polished yet).

A Brother laser. If buying today, I would get a document feeder, duplexing, and wireless. The $150ish version is fine for home use. Mine lacks wireless so we use special software to add it that adds a step. But it just works and only needs a new toner ever couple years at our printing pace.

Apple is touting AR for its headset, but it drops into VR with the twist of a knob. It will never sell in volume at that price, but there are already people lining up to get one.

Hard disagree. Affinity Photo is on par. It. Is worse in a few areas (AI, especially) but better in others.

I still believe Microsoft rolled over too easy on their phone OS. They should have dug in until they were competitive like they did with the gaming market.

Use the one built into iPhones and either encrypt iCloud so Apple cannot read it ( but no way to recover if you forget password) or turn off iCloud sync for health data (you will lose history with new phone).

Or, print out a one page annual calendar and use a pencil.

It is a pain in group chats. That one green bubble means the chat falls back to basic text. That means I effectively cannot send a video (possible, but unusable quality).

At that point I would rather use something like WhatsApp. Which is fine if everyone in the group has it. At least it is cross platform.

But I am seriously considering buying my sister, who has a cheap husband, an iPhone just so she does not mess up a family group chat.

I agree. Just have a designated box or place for the students to leave their phones in each classroom. They can grab them in an emergency or on their way to lunch.

We are starting to see them banned.

Amazing list. I use the iCloud download extension (not iTunes) on my gaming pc to back up photos. Although, it now has an annoying pop up every time it runs.

Good list. I like Office over the apple apps for file sharing, especially Excel. Office is still the industry standard. But this is an extra expense for most people.

That headline buries the lead.

My biggest complaint is it not using an embedded web browser.
