Student loans do not effect the wealthy. They simply do not have student loans. For them it is a waste of tax money.

And boomers did not need student loans because college was affordable. They believe you can still get s part time job and pay for school. So to them, quit being so lazy.

Then we have the rich boomers that pay politicians to rage for them.

It was fun, had great acting, and had a fresh plot. Who knew Hollywood could still do this?

Smartphone sales in general are down. It has hit apple somewhat and devastated Android sales. Likely a result of the K shaped recovery (middle class and wealthy better off, poor worse off).

But there is also a huge pent up demand for the USB-C iPhone. I put off upgrading my 11 for it.

Stubbs is decent sauce. Haven’t tried this one, but it’s likely solid.

I just cannot take part in any mustard based “bbq” sauce.

California has progressive taxes. That means the wealthy pay a higher tax rate than the middle class. The wealthy have gotten taxes raised on the middle class and lowered on the wealthy in most red states. So they continue to pay for a disinformation campaign that rails on California taxes.

But CA continues to carry the US in GDP. It has a tropical weather, that allows outdoor activities nearly year round, not found anywhere else in the US. It also has a lot of support for lower and middle class (this shows up in places like infant mortality rates).

But like almost everywhere else in the world, except countries like Japan and China that have addressed planning at a federal level, they have not built houses near fast enough to keep up with demand. So the cost of living is high (They have changed laws recently to try to partially address it). But if you make enough to live there it is a wonderful place to live.

I don’t have a favorite, use the best tool for the job.

Cars.

Ease of use. For example, if I need something odd like a rack to hang bikes in my garage, I can find and buy one in 5 minutes and go back to whatever I was going.

Facebook market, but same issues with people. But dealing face to face helps somewhat. I despise it and don’t use FB personally, but my wife does and unfortunately that is where local sales happen now.

It saves tons of time. Most of the things we buy on Amazon are not even available locally.

I have gone to the source and bought off the top 4-5 Chinese sites. Slow, but so far no issues.

Walmart occasionally, but their website is terrible and selection limited.

Microcenter for pc parts.

eBay for a few things.

Adorama and the other big NY camera seller (edit: B&H) often have deals on things like laptops.

Rock auto for car parts. Car-part.com for used car parts when my wife hits yet another deer.

Amazon, still way too much.

Apple is working on 16 in the labs, as 15 is already in production.

I can’t. I book day flights.

I am not sure if this is a joke, but many people take something that makes them sleepy. I can’t do it.

Which, it is. There are likely already woman that will have trouble conceiving or may not ever have children because doctors were not able to terminate a bad pregnancy.
