Just because history doesn't remember it doesn't mean it hasn't always been this way. Just roll with the punches and adapt when it actually affects you.
You think the point is to convince them otherwise? That would be nice but no. The point is to make sure others aren't convinced by their arguments. If there's nobody else around to be convinced then you just ignore them.
If they haven't hurt anyone and they're merely using their free speech then I would not defend assault and battery on them. Just because their ideas and speech are deplorable does not give you the right to assault them.
I saw the other post and figured they must be talking about some radioactive isotope that got into the manufacturing process, but no. They're talking about fucking radio waves. Do not mix up ionizing radiation from radioactive sources with non-ionizong radiation from RF sources. One damages DNA and the other kind of slightly heats things by a fraction of a degree. You get drastically more heat by running a game and then holding it to your head, or wearing a hat.
To think that people would have opinions that influence their writing. For shame. That doesn't happen anywhere else. /s
Honestly you need to understand your sources biases and use multiple sources then you'll get close to the truth. Or at least what you want to be the truth because you have your biases too.
EDIT: thank you for that link. It's a breath of fresh air.
