  • Not saying you're wrong in general but

if you need to stop on any kind of hill, you have to be aware your gonna need half a car length or more to get into gear where your just going to be falling down that hill while you convince yourself you don't need to panic and you will catch the gear before you're past the point of no return

My shitty Toyota Aygo has a hill start assist thing and it works very well. Basically when you release the brake at 0 km/h it holds it for a few seconds or until you reach the slip point of your first gear. Also handbrake start is right there in the OP, (and a mandatory part of drivers ed over here)

  • Ha ! That happened to me last year actually. Showered in the morning everything was fine. Came back from work to the thing in pieces on my floor. It can happen with tempered glass due to manufacturing defects. I think what actually triggers it to break apart isn't even well understood. And good luck explaining that shit to your landlord because it's pretty rare.

  • Let's see some ID before you vote

Wait, how does that work then ? Because here in France you have to show a "electoral card" to vote. It requires virtually zero effort to get though, and I assume it helps a lot with fraud

  • Almost happened to a friend of mine. Good thing he was on his way to babysit the commissioner's kids when the "goons" (who were actually plainclothes officers looking for drugs traffickers, but never identified themselves before they caught him) attacked him.
