  • Should we all believe Trump is in dire trouble anymore? Is this just another "Big Problems" story that Trump will easily shrug off? Thanks to the media saturation, no matter how bad, it has clearly worked to boost his popularity to perfection at this point.

  • Gotcha, disregard my comment then.

Just for context, Material you when relating to Google Maps refers to the user-generated content that is contributed to the platform. This can include things like photos, reviews, and ratings of places such as businesses, restaurants, and other points of interest.

  • Hello, I would like to suggest, as others have, that four times per year would be a good compromise. I attempted to access the poll link, but as a privacy advocate—likely a common trait among those discussing open source—I was unable to vote because of my VPN. Also, I just wanted to share my thoughts and express my appreciation for your efforts in taking on this project.

  • For context :

A Peruvian police officer arrested a suspected drug dealer while disguised as a cuddly teddy bear holding a box of chocolates on Valentine’s Day (14 February).

The officer knelt down on one knee and beckoned the suspect out of her house with a balloon and a sign that reads in Spanish: “You are my reason to smile.”

Other officers disguised themselves as workers and then bolted towards the alleged offender once she left her residence, leading to her arrest.

Another woman was separately seized by the officers, who said they found more than 1500 portions of cocaine paste during the arrests.

  • In the EU, there are standards that must be adhered to, but it's unclear what privacy standards Meta will maintain or discard in other parts of the world. Their "free" WhatsApp messenger monetizes by collecting user data, including device information, contacts' phone numbers, and usage patterns. This data collection also allows them to pinpoint your location and share this information with Facebook.

Outside the EU, Meta could potentially use other apps to supplement these data points. It has been well documented that WhatsApp/Meta has shared this data with authorities when required in the past. This move doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies.
