It not being taught is not quite the same as the outright denial / suppression that China does though.

Like there are only so many hours in the school day, you can't teach literally every historical event.

Literally never had an issue with it.

But everyone selling llms sells them as being able to solve any problem, making it hard to know when it's going to fail and give you junk.

But the problem is more "my do it all tool randomly fails at arbitrary tasks in an unpredictable fashion" making it hard to trust as a tool in any circumstances.

There was a very noticeable drop off in people at my university computer science program after the first programming class. There is an actual wall there for a lot of people in terms of comprehending how programming works, things like assigning a value to a variable where difficult concepts to some.

It's also not an issue on every other USB c controller made.

I grocery shop basically every other day, means I only need a single bag at a time. I also happen to live across the street from the grocery store.

This idea that groceries need to be bought in 18wheeler quantities sucks, but is because America can't fathom being closer than 10 miles to any shopping.

Also just ignore that core routers are super specialized to moving packets as fast as possible. Having to inspect every packet would ruin them, and literally nuke service speeds across the country.

For us that do outdoor sports we still will.need a car, but not having to use it to commute to work or go grocery shopping would be a wonderful thing

Also the better transit is the fewer people you have to shard the road with when you do need to use your car.

It's not all or nothing.

Maid was never about killing people to free space. Maid was intended for people who's injury / illness has condemned them to suffering every moment for the rest of their natural life, it is an optional way out for people who have zero quality of life with the expectation that it will never get better.

I will never expect someone to use Maid, but I will never criticize so.eone who does.

Surface to air missiles use various forms of shrapnel depending on the missile, this is basically 100% a SAM. This also looks very similar to the damage from the other airliner Russia shot down a few years ago with one of their mobile Sam units.

Not really, Russia went from an empire with kings /queens into a revolution into a "communjst" dictatorship.

China was similar but I think had a step in the middle, hence the split with Taiwan.

So far every "attempt" at communism has resulted in some form of dictator, so it's not surprising that the idea of communism leaves a sour taste for a lot of people.

It really doesn't help that there are communities that look at the Russian outcome of communism and claim that was a good result.
