  • Thanks. I didn't miss that even if not every detail isn't included.

  • At least he gets to die in freedom.

And that's the most important part of all. The past can't be changed but after all the campaigns and marches and rallies he's finally heading home. I'm sure your Lemmy post helped, too.

  • That response is unwarranted especiallly as I took time to thoughtfully give you feedback and advice. Emotional intelligence is important on Lemmy and you are clearly lacking by not following its very basic code of conduct. Good luck.

  • While the articles may not be spam you are flooding the feeds of users who subscribe to mutual communities by posting 6 times in one community in a minute, therefore pushing posts in other communities way down in users' feeds. I appreciate your passion and the information you share but it may make a better experience for others if you spread your posts apart a bit. I have been on Lemmy for over 2 years and moderate a few communities so you can take this feedback or leave it. Getting blocked by other users probably isn't your desired result especially when you have good information to share. Calling people "sad" will definitely lead to getting blocked or banned from communities which I doubt is your desired result.

Here’s What the Regenerative Cities of Tomorrow Could Look Like

  • They can argue against the employer’s claim and prove they weren’t fired for cause. My former employer lied to unemployment and and it worked in my favor. Either way they can appeal a decision and should start consulting attorneys immediately.

  • I brought up fame to reassert her desire to be just like everyone else which I believe you misunderstood. Please don’t lash out and make this personal when this is a place for open discussion. I have heard your opinion and I disagree. I am not saying what is allowed, that’s a moderator’s job, so much as asking for a clear discussion on the topic brought up. No need to further it by throwing insults back and forth

  • Your first sentence is true but not really relevant to this thread. As another commenter pointed out, it’s possible she doesn’t have the most articulated politics. To expect or assume otherwise is to put her on a pedestal.

  • I'm aware of the context. I still disagree. This is a person who's been struggling because of the impact of fame on her personal life and been begging to be treated like a regular person and I think putting her on a pedestal by assuming she's a political expert or pundit isn't honoring that. She gave her answer. That's all.

  • That's a valid interpretation although not an objective one or one I share given the rest of her delivery and vague discussion of "policies" .

  • She referred to the Democratic Party as "The Left" which makes it pretty hard to take any political commentary from her too seriously.

  • Sir you are commenting in the wrong thread and the wrong community. Why do that here? I am not a moderator here. I did read all the comments a month ago when the discussion was current and active. You commented here in a combative way and then specifically went to an older post of mine and told me what "should be obvious to " me without any discussion of why or otherwise adding anything constructive. You received several downvotes and were asked to be more constructive. Instead you've doubled down here and repeated the insult.

  • You seem to have missed the point of the article as it in no way was trying to propose more labor for working class people. In many ways it is trying to overcome the oppressive image that you have in your head. To a large extent, these changes are trying to advance human progress by overcoming the crises we find ourselves facing. You were born in 1953? That makes you about 70-71 but your profile says you're 66 years old. That's an odd inconsistency.

Love of cargo bikes is changing how we deliver goods in our cities

  • Try replacing the batteries. That's often the reason for this type of thing.

  • "attracting" companies like Intel that are on the BDS boycott list is not really a good look for Linux.

  • You’re grasping at straws to try to invalidate me instead of saying anything that would back up your point making your argument weaker. There was no repetition from me so if you’ve heard this before it would seem you’ve had this discussion before and may benefit from listening. Perhaps you shouldn’t respond if you have nothing to say

  • A better example of a pogrom might be the killing of over 30,000 civilian Palestinians and simultaneously starving them to death with blockade following 75 years of occupation and a century of colonialism. Proportionality matters and it doesn't favor your argument

  • One need not pretend something that is already factually accurate. This was a retaliation and direct response for Israel bombing Iran's consulate in Syria on April 1. This is why Iran targeted and struck the Negev air force base ( which contains US F-35s used to bomb Gaza ) as that is the base from which that attack originated. This is also why Iran says it now considers the matter "concluded" and warned the US and Israel against further reprisals. Those are facts and not "pretending" so if you are going to "pretend" this isn't true and try to distort the matter I'm not interested.
