This is probably the most I believe a stranger has ever agreed so vehemently with my opinion. I feel blessed that someone else disdains him (and his performance) as much as I do. I shared the same opinion on other social media in the past and people either tell me I have a problem, or that the character is supposed to be obnoxious. But I think it's deeper than that. Fuck Dwayne Johnson.
I dated one of those long-distance once and it was really fucking weird. We would have phone sex and she would want me to talk about myself raping her. I tried it once or twice and I was so bad at it that she stopped asking me to phone rape her. Last I checked she moved across the country to probably get fake-raped by another internet boyfriend of hers.
The entire episode is just them driving around Philly with the intention of going elsewhere, but the plan gets derailed in typical gang fashion when they wind up just switching seats over and over (both in and out of the U-Haul) until they end up back where they started, and with zero interest in continuing the original plan.
It's an absolute travesty that they threw away nearly every character's arc in the final season and robbed them of their big moments, purely to subvert expectations. These arcs were predictable because that's where their stories were fucking heading. But noOoOoo...
Jaime is probably the show's finest example of an eight-season arc thrown directly into the trash at the last moment. What was even the point?
I'm pleased with your positive review. I also adore the vanilla games and find the series to be deeply immersive and atmospheric. It's difficult to put into words exactly how the Zone makes me feel, but it's something that is as beautiful as it is haunting, and it's certainly not lost on STALKER fans. It seems like you value the Zone in many of the same ways that I do, and if the missing A-life really hasn't bothered you or felt as though it has stripped the world of something important, then maybe it's not as big of a handicap as I had assumed.
I had played six hours or so and really liked it, but it ran poorly on my GPU (I've since upgraded) and I was worried the missing A-life was going to hinder my enjoyment of it. The r/stalker community is really toxic in that regard, and I regret poking my head in there.
Haven't seen it yet, but I fucking hated Maui in the first one, his song You're Welcome, and the entire Shiny segment. Really, the entire movie just falls apart for me after Maui shows up. Pretty good first half.

True maturity is allowing yourself to be humbled by something so inconsequential, and going as far as to reach out to an old acquaintance if only to let them share in the laugh.
Mainly the nostalgia of it. The familiar peaceful Christmas hymns and the way Christmas lights reflect against soft snow. My spirit drifts somewhere between commercial Christmas and Yule.
I put it on hold until the A-life is hopefully fixed, and because it ran like shit whenever I was in a social hub.. But I also bought a 3070 Ti last night.. To continue waiting or not to continue waiting?
That's unusual. Yeah, I had only played on mobile. Couldn't tell you whether or not it contained spyware, but the game itself is fantastic and the only paid content (additional classes/decks) are well worth it.
I just can't believe conservatives actually observe that little dweeb in action and think he would make a fine and respectable PM. I don't think he's fit to be a hall monitor, though he certainly looks the part.
