My little brother dealt with that on his SSI and it is total bullshit. He couldn't work past like 15 or 20 hours a week or they'd take all of his benefits away. They need to either make them tail off slowly or move that cliff back to like $200k/yr.

I have a base 10% tip as an American and that's the floor. It's really hard to not tip in countries that it's not expected, like I have a physical urge to tip my waiter or bartender. But sometimes I have an amazing time and tip 50, 100, or 200% on a bill and when I do, I turn it upside down and run like hell before they see it.

$100 or $500 isn't a lot of money to me, but I don't want anyone to thank me for my tip, it's just a way to say "thank you."
