You're not going to college level math to do basic calculations. You're going to college level math because you need to learn how to actually fully understand and apply mathematical concepts.

I wouldn't have found like half the music I listen to now if I was only buying releases I already knew about.

I think it says far more about the capabilities of the steam deck. The thing is perfect for older, less intensive titles. I wouldn't expect this list to be filled with new releases.

WTF are you talking about. You can't just claim it's unsafe and it makes the grid unsafe. Nuclear is INCREDIBLY SAFE. Other than a few disasters that happened decades ago it has the lowest deaths/kwh. And it won't help contribute to the BILLIONS of deaths that are coming due to climate change. Your fear of some Chernobyl disaster is irrational.

Because none of those (except hydro and geothermal, but those are both extremely location dependent) will deal with the baseload power generation we need. And don't just say we will make more batteries, lithium is already getting more expensive, and there may be global shortages in the next few years.

Norway (iirc, or some country near it.) Has been making a large containment facility in a deep mountain cave that would be able to store a large amount of the waste. The waste is actually pretty much a non issue at this point. I would much rather we start making more reactors now while we still have a chance, than be paralyzed with fear that the nuclear waste is gonna be some major crisis. It won't be, but the amount of pollution from NOT having the reactors will be.

They use motor oil for pancake syrup because it won't soak into the pancakes.

The death penalty is generally MORE expensive than prison for life, and if you don't want it that way your giving the government monetary incentive to give out more death penalties. Which is obviously a HORRIBLE IDEA

Have you gotten to act 2 or 3? From what I've heard the deck plays fine until you get too far into the game, and then it is unplayable.

Trees are some of the best carbon sinks there are. Far greater than any artificial ones we have so far. Trees last a long time, and when they die you can just plant more.

I would say stock buybacks are already a real issue, doesn't matter if they're borrowing the money or not. If companies had to actually invest in their employees instead of their rich shareholders a lot of issues in our society today would be lessened.

I feel like that's just because of cloud/smoke cover that the ocean looks like that. I doubt the photo has been altered specifically to make it look worse.

Oh man that makes me sad. I remember seeing that when I was 12 on a trip there and it being the coolest tree I had ever seen.

There are PLENTY of resources to go around, but a teeny teeny tiny percentage of people are hogging over half of them all for themselves.
