Good luck convincing entire communities to use a different service that is less supported.

That's some of the worst logical thinking I've seen on Lemmy.

It's not literally about the color. The way iMessage works is if everyone in a group chat is using it you can send high quality video and images over it. However if you have a single non-imessage user (i.e. android user) it disabled that for everyone and defaults to MMS video/pic quality. You can see how that would obviously lead to immense peer pressure to not be the one making all of your friends experience worse, or risk just never being in those group chats.

I thought that is a shader building issue.

Yea that has been fixed. And AutoHDR is pretty much a must have if you have a real HDR monitor. (Not that fake hdr400 B's they put on all monitors nowadays.)

I think something that really harmed the overall reception of starfield is baldurs gate 3 releasing a month before it. Quest design in that game is stupendous, with tons of varied stories with interesting characters. And each quest can be solved in tons of different ways due to how in depth the game mechanics are. Starting to play starfield after playing that game made the whole game feel sooooo shallow. For an "open world RPG" I always felt that the devs only ever gave you 1 or 2 options to complete a quest.

Too many people think that when we spend money on space, that we are literally sending the money into orbit. Almost all of it is going back into the economy and keeping tons of businesses alive.

If they were going fast enough for that to happen they would be launched toward the front of the ship anyway, and we don't see that happening.

You're not going to college level math to do basic calculations. You're going to college level math because you need to learn how to actually fully understand and apply mathematical concepts.
