Seeing this on the news was so hard to watch. I’ve been so angry about all of this and I go back and forth between being optimistic about the future to outright depression…

HOAs are fascist, no one can change my mind. Also I’m super anti-lawn, a better alternative would be native wild grasses and/or flowers as they are better for the environment and kinder on the wallet as you spend less time watering. I’ve also heard that native plants aid with flooding as their roots go way deeper.

They’ve already instigated a war with one nuclear power, what’s one more?

I hope that one day I, too, will be able to deliver such devastating burns in such an eloquent manner.

It kind of reminds me of when they took doors from Ukraine and made a museum showcasing them. It was incredibly weird and, honestly, very fucked up that they would do that so early in this conflict. The war isn’t even over and they’re capitalizing off it.

My mindset is clearly not suited for understanding US policies because, to me, if any other country pulled this stunt everyone would be rightfully up in arms but because it’s the US there’s only crickets.

I was responding to this part of the comment. I thought they were talking about the Ukraine/Iraq speech so that’s why I brought it up but maybe I’m mistaken.

I think in a speech Bush meant to say Ukraine was being unjustly invaded but accidentally said Iraq was being invaded.
