A brief search shows that they seized control in May, so technically spring unless they still get snow during that time.

I’m right there with you. I know I’m only 24 but at this point the world has been changing so quickly some days I feel like I’m running out of time.

They body shamed him? Please tell me where I can find his response to that. From what I looked up Trudeau was also mocking him, if he wanted to prove himself as a different kind of leader maybe he shouldn’t pal around with the likes of Boris fucking Johnson.

Yeah this is one of the reasons I have little hope for Canada making any sort of meaningful changes at this point in time. We are moving hard right very very fast but even if a communist movement got momentum here I don’t know how we’d survive.

I literally had to look up “Winter War meme” to find this and the amount of others with a similar sentiment is embarrassing as hell.

It just baffles me because isn’t Russia kind of well known for its brutal winters?

I don’t know much about what happened during the Winter War (Soviet Union v. Finland) but people seem to cite it as an example of Russia somehow failing. With Finland now in NATO they seem optimistic that this is going to be Winter War 2 Electric Boogaloo.

That’s what’s also confusing me. Like, we’ve already gone through winter of this war so what makes this year different? The Russians survived then and will do the same now so I don’t know what they’re blabbing about.

I don’t speak Russian either but I’d love to learn, that’s why I just hum to it and hope one day I can sing along.

That’s literally what happened to me! My first student aid request I misread a question so there was a slight error (essentially a spelling error, I put fourth year instead of first year) that I didn’t notice until filling out my second request so I had to call them to make sure it didn’t screw me over and I’d be arrested for fraud or something. The lady on the phone said it was fine, that I would be okay, and she would leave a note on my file that I remedied my mistake but now my student aid is taking longer than last time and it has me stressed to no end!
