  • He died with the plague. It could have been anything that killed him, like a vaccine. The plague is no worse than a flu.

  • the CEO recently boasted about how "60% of their work uses chatGPT"

Jesus Christ... That's not something to be proud of

  • Incredible things are happening in China. Thank you for sharing!

  • Nope.

Those questions are not tough for them at all. The propaganda has it covered and they will give some version of "we tried our gosh darned best to bring the savages freedom and democracy but their barbarian culture was simply too primitive".

  • I can't seem to find anyone in real life who doesn't.

  • When did the mayor of NYC become so important

It wouldn't be so important if there was a meaningful opposition to the Trump regime in congress. But there isn't, this is the most prominent election where people are offered actual material improvements so it becomes a stand-in for people's hopes for a better future.

  • Another hoop you have to jump through in order to become a citizen is that you have to give the local mayor a handshake (skin-to-skin contact legally required). This is considered so important that it was upheld even at the height of COVID.

The reason for this bizarre rule is that chuds convicted themselves that shaking the hand of a woman was some kind of cryptonite to scary "Islamists". But the mayor is more likely to be a man than a woman, you say. Yes. That is true. It is ridiculous even on its own terms.

  • If you want to become a naturalised Danish citizen, one of the hoops you have to jump through is to pass a multiple choice trivia quiz with questions such as:

    • What demographic did the "Radical Left" party represent when it was founded in 1905? (Smallholders)
    • When was "the Christian Danish church" founded (the Viking age)
    • What person was associated with the folk high school movement in the 19th century (NFS Grundtvig)

Some of the questions requires participants to parrot state propaganda, such as answering that Greenland ceased to be a colony in 1953.

    It is deeply unserious.

  • I hate that it had to come to this but we are now required to replace the S'es in the name of the US with the more evil and ethnic letter Z:

    • United ZtateZ
    • UZ
    • UZA
  • Yes. That's what makes it quite remarkable.

There could be several reasons why such an organisation would publish this. It could have been published with the expectation that it would only be read among the elite who actually needs accurate information. It could also have been published to push for some sort of "renewal of democracy" through tighter control of the media and harsher repression of dissidents. It could also simply be a "look at his brainwashed the Chinese are!" Kind of thing.

  • Some background information on the source. From NATOpedia:

The Alliance of Democracies Foundation (AoD) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the advancement of democracy and free markets across the globe

It was founded in 2017 by war criminal, former NATO secretary general and likely current CIA asset Anders Fogh Rasmussen. Among the co-founders you find the politically connected oligarch Fritz Schur who provided a significant part of the funding for Anders Fogh Rasmussen's Liberal Party during his tenure as prime minister.

It is an organisation devoted to advance atlanticism, neoliberalism and western imperialism.

  • I hope it killed a lot of evil people

  • Triad of Extremism? That sounds kind of cool.

  • There was someone they forgot to ask

  • RETVRN!

  • This is your brain on liberalism

  • Goebbels certainly didn't believe in the right to privacy but there is nothing connecting him to the "if you have nothing to hide..." quote. He certainly wasn't the first to come up with it, as it can be found in a 1917 piece by Upton Sinclair.

It seems like Goebbels' connection to the quote is one of these "it feels so true that it has to be true" misattributions that floats around on the internet and in popular culture.

And by the way, the NSA are Nazis, they are bad people doing bad things for evil reasons.

  • I disagree. "Primitive" hunter/gatherer people would never deliberately starve children to death. To do something that evil you need civilization.

It takes a very complex society with a sophisticated ideological superstructure and to dehumanise people so much.

  • Business Process Optimization Tool Builder (I make boring backend systems to help boring businesses do their boring work more effectively)

  • In a small way they are doing a little to legitimize the occupation by pretending it as a normal state. However the real culprit regarding the flight attendants and pilots are airlines like Wizz Air who are not only chosing to collaborate with a genocidal fascist regime but also to put their employees in harms way.
