  • Do what you enjoy. Yes people will judge. You would be hard pressed to find a whimsical passtime that people do not judge. What matters is if you are living your life how you want to.

I also guarantee you will make somebody's day.

As long as you can communicate appropriately for the situation (I.E. an emergency, to perform your job adequately, or for serious discussions) I don't think it matters in the long run what others think.

  • Ngl, trump waffling around with tarriffs is already causing major damage to the economy. Companies need to project costs for budgeting to keep their business operational. Him constantly putting out changing information is causing layoffs and all sorts of chaos.

All that to say, they should really nut up sooner than later.

  • ADL responds to this event:

Programming is hard. We understand that sometimes mistakes are made and LLMs go from Hitler bad, to Hitler good. Everyone should be more accommodating toward Mr.Musk's autism.

In other news, Mamdani should be deported for saying Israel has the right to exist as a state with EQUAL rights. As this is a blatant example of anti-semitism.

  • More importantly, he stayed on vacation after the disaster.

Looks like the flood happened on the 4th and ted was seen in Texas on the 7th.

On Saturday, July 5, at about 6 p.m. local time (11 a.m. ET)—more than 24 hours after the Guadalupe River burst its banks—Cruz and his wife were spotted by a Swamp spy lining up outside the iconic tourist site.

“He was with his family and a lone security guard,” said an eyewitness at the Parthenon. “As he walked past us, I simply said, ‘20 kids dead in Texas and you take a vacation?’

“He sort of grunted and walked on. His wife shot me a dirty look. Then they continued on with their tour guide.”

  • I would love to believe that AI is here, but the current technology we are using is just not there yet. Until I see irrefutable evidence that LLMs are sentient, I am going to remain skeptical.

Believing that what we currently have is sentient and possibly new life is falling for the marketing ploys of the corpos trying to make massive amounts of money off investors.

    https://algocademy.com/blog/why-ai-can-follow-logic-but-cant-create-it-the-limitations-of-artificial-intelligence/

AI systems are fundamentally limited by their training data. They cannot truly create logic that goes beyond what they’ve been exposed to during training. While they can combine existing patterns in new ways, giving the appearance of creativity, they cannot make the kind of intuitive leaps that characterize human innovation.

    1. Universal Healthcare - kills predatory health insurance and drug manufacturers
    2. State sponsored housing / accessable housing - kills the real estate market
    3. Well financed public education - kills private schools

I am talking about the markets that rely on the suffering of people to make massive amounts of money. Monied interests have proven time and time again what our government stands for.

    How about this:

I am legally required to say this is a joke.
