The best you can do is not buy a car until he's gone. The tariffs would go to his grubby little dip shit hands anyway. Dont let him have any tax revenue if you can help it.

Now the real question is can they keep the seat after the next election cycle and beyond? Can Democrats deliver on things and hammer the point home to their constituents so there can be a cultural shift that prioritizes improving things over conservative ideology? If conservatism can't be uprooted in the community it'll only let Republicans back in as soon as the threat of Trump is over.

I personally think it's better to do it now than hear people bitching about needing an alternative to the DNC's kingmaker moves during the next election cycle. Just introduce the party and its candidates in some strategically selected districts where progressive policies are being demanded.

With the exception of the Gulf War, America hasn't been able to win one since WWII. America's so confident in the tech it's developed that its strategists can't figure out an end game to any conflict they've dragged the military into. Dumping money into the defense industry isn't the same as having an effective fighting force if its soldiers are demoralized with systemic neglect and shit pay. Sure we can carpet bomb the shit out of cities and place defensive points around oil wells, but that only makes the natives switch to guerilla tactics that can be very difficult to detect or counter.

I looked up a house recently as part of a Craigslist transaction and noticed it was the only blurred one in the street. I checked its Zillow listing and saw way more than what you could see on Street View anyway and chuckled. When I got there I saw there was a Tesla parked on the driveway which probably explained why it was blurred in the first place.

The majority of the American population is ignorant enough to believe the lies of their abusers so long as they have an R next to their name. This is a self perpetuating cycle at this point as each subsequent generation is intentionally less educated than the last.

They were okay with Trump's racism, the saber rattling, the promises of tyranny, the misinformation, his chaos, his love of Putin, the weird relationship with Elon Musk, Project 2025, the kleptocracy, the nepotism, the bullying, and even his promises of tariffs. Now that the American markets are crashing and the world hates the US she finally drew the line. She'll always be a piece of shit and will embrace the next conservative who talks like a dumbass at her level, so long as they don't go too mask-off I guess.
