  • I know! The movie Lady Ballers? Seriously, what the fuck is going on there. I get that comedy often comes at the expense of someone, even if it's just the comic or a fictional character or situation, but that movie... It's cruel humor that dehumanizes people and mocks their pain. Anyone who supports it is a rotten person.

  • Agreed. It's just that it's really easy for a small amount of people to do a lot of bad things. It's hard to maintain, harder to build, and easy to destroy.

  • It's like saying "I may be shit, but I'm not burning, sulfurous, liquid fire shits." Dude is still shit.

  • I think people are misunderstanding your comment.

I don't think you're suggesting this proverbial chiropractor made it rain, only that the patient felt listened to, which may make them initially view the treatment favorably. When their symptoms later get better, as they always would have, they attribute it to the chiropractic treatment, not just healing over time

  • My thanks to all those Pacific Islanders, slamming back turkey tails so Americans can look better.

  • Yep. I just woke up, it's nearly 13:00, and I have no idea how I slept this late. I went to bed at midnight. I set the alarm for nine!

  • Come on over baby

    Whole lotta quittin' going on

    Come on over baby

    Baby you can't go wrong

    Ain't no bullshittin'

    Whole lotta quittin' going on

  • I'm going to take point three a step further and suggest there are ENHANCED collaboration benefits for virtual meetings, of course depending on the field.

I work in a field that produces a shit ton of SOPs and technical documents. We're better able to collaborate when we can all work on a document simultaneously instead of having one person input all the changes while we do our best to explain to them what we want them to do.

There has been so much meeting time dedicated to something like "up three lines... No, three, so one more line. Now go there... Keep going... You got it. Okay, now add 'this'... No, that's not quite right, try 'that' instead," and so on. So much wasted time.

  • She's working hard to please her corporate masters. Dance, monkey, dance!

  • I want their end times to come too so they can get raptured out. I feel like there'd be an immediate improvement in society.

  • 2.96 GB and I haven't cleared it once. I'm a lightweight.

  • Yep, it's been the boiling frog for decades now. It's surreal to compare 1970s Republican politician antics to what they're doing now. Back then, much of their current bullshit would have outraged their constituency and the nation in general. It would be the headlines of every paper. Now their supporters cheer for it, the corporate news spins it in a positive light if they report on it at all, and many more progressive voters just tune it out.

  • Wait, peter is the verb 'to fart ' in French? Oh man. I know a couple of Peters and don't like either. This is great.

  • If they were a dog, I suspect they'd have mentioned periodically vomiting the chocolate up so they could eat it again.

  • This is wise. I really hope they're trolling as the alternative is they're actually like that.
