  • And to add to it. Fun fact, literally all studies of economic impacts of immigrants show they are a boost to the nation they move to and not a burden. You treat it as a given that a person not currently in their nation of origin puts stress on that system beyond what they added to it.

That is fantasy driven by very racist presumptions supported by no facts, only feelings.

  • Action; became cop. Is bad. Yup, all lights green here.

You don't see cops as the enforcement of capital with a side gig of solving crime. He does. Just because the show doesn't bother to dive into that aspect doesn't mean it's an invalid point especially if we are just talking about "goodness".

Here's a better way to put it. Light would view the FBI agents as good guys due to his general views of law enforcement in general so targeting them is light showing that what he thinks is good in the world is irrelevant to his choices.

Instead now we are arguing ideology because you don't understand perspective in literature. Womp womp and acab

Here's a reply on this same post where I do just that. My problem isn't "communists don't do propaganda" that's silly. My problem is calling out ideological use of propaganda without also mentioning liberal propaganda, the one we are immersed in so completely.

Shoulda read more than the very first comment before commenting on what I was and wasn't doing. :)

  • Hey bit biter, that's my line.

Also, it's just fun to point out when people mention propaganda with "fascists and communists" as if doing propaganda is an evil manipulation of the public but fails to mention the most successful ideology to use propaganda, liberals.

  • Who said that? Communist propaganda has a big history in film. USSR had a huge film industry and artists tend to be leftist.

Howmstever, it's funny to call it propaganda, a typically derogatory term but I'm gonna say your not the kinda guy who would recognize propaganda as such if it belongs to things you consider "regular"

That's the point I was making. Would you like it explained again?

  • Saying we don't agree doesn't justify holding a morally abhorrent position. Just means you're done trying to have a good reason. You opened this whole convo with "someone tell me who's right in this" and I did and all you did was justify a genocide you said you knew nothing about.

You can't "not agree" you have no opinion with any basis. You defaulted to the genociders side for some ungodforsaken reason and took a stand there while also self proclaiming your ignorance.

You asked for an explanation. You got one. And yet somehow with literally everyone who replied to you telling you what the fuck is up you somehow still went from no opinion to "fuck it, I'm actually pro genocide at this point. No half measures"

    Go fuck yourself

  • It's not an insult to compare a genocide to a genocide. It's a genocide. An extermination. The point is to put that weight of history on you. If you cannot bring yourself to see the wholesale slaughter of a people as the same due to who those people are and who's committing it, that's a issue.
