  • They had to be designed or modified to explode. Which makes it a big question of where they came from. Lots of legitimate ways Israel could have done it, and a lot of ways that could involve violating laws and treaties.

  • The green party only exists because the GOP keeps giving them money. The only time anyone ever hears a damn word out of them, is when they're showing up to split the Dem vote for the GOP.

  • Not sinking, a bit disappointed she didn't hit back better. Seems to be mainly a delivery issue, she has the knowledge and talking points. Just not hitting the mark with them.

Her main strength right now is that Trump is a rambling mess.

Edit: She's getting better as they go on, kind of getting into a groove. She doesn't have performance practice.

  • Because new voters are a rounding error smaller than the error bars of the sample size.

Polling is pretty much like the unemployment rate. Any individual reading is meaningless, it's a multitude of readings over time that give any useful information.

  • I'm starting to question 538s predictions not because there is any problem with the models, but because there is a filter on what polls they choose to include. I don't want to call it bias, it's just a blind spot that their model isn't getting all the input for.

Of course it's not like anyone else is doing a better job either.

  • Taking a planet, and policing a planet, are VASTLY different operations. A few guys throwing asteroids can take a planet. Policing that planet would likely take around one operative per 100 population.

  • And Kennedy and Byrd. It's a running shit show of politicians thinking they'll live forever, or never lose an election. When what every one of them needs to be doing from day one, is prepping a successor in the public eye. A simple "thanks for electing me, and keep an eye on this awesome dude that wants my job too."

  • Disappointing really, political leaders need to learn how to pass on to the next generation. The Dems are especially guilty of staying in office too long, and screwing up their own legacy in the process.

  • Not collapsing democracy and making women into chattel is actually a really good campaign selling point. A hopeful future is great and all, but from what I've seen so far, fear and anger and way more motivating right now.
